I am a social worker in training and working in some of the hardest places in LA...these stories are ALL too familiar. It's always the same, kids getting into drugs, prostitution, gangs etc all because of dysfunctional families. The common theme is always messed up families and parents who gave up parenting a looooong time ago. If you don't believe me read a few books yourself or read up on a few social studies books. Statistics and personal experiences don't lie. Somewhere the mom screwed up.

@labellavienna Mother bashing. SW's ignore male abusers and neglectful fathers when working with dysfunctional families ( 95% of all families have some level of dysfunction). Most SW's are women. Women are very judgmental and competitive towards one another - especially when it comes to parenting and homemaking. Seen it too often working directly with SW's as a Youth Worker.

@sancti78 You can't possibly blame the mother. Victims of violent crimes often ask themselves "where did I go wrong?" 2 men kill her daughter. It's no ones fault but the murderers. It's only natural for family members to feel guilt. How can you make that statement..."how come she let her daughter loose on the street and be a prostitute and use drugs" That's nuts to blame her mom. she was a grown woman. Even if she wasn't an adult, her mother is not at fault. she's a victim.

SO maybe your boyfriends or husbands molesting here didnt help? or maybe whomever was more than likely molesting her as a young child didnt help that you didnt watch or notice. She could be different though she might have just had a rough time and turned to drugs.

A lot of people will disagree with me, but prostitution should be legalized, 1 women would not be slaughtered anymore, the johns and women would be protected by using condoms, and the women would be constantly tested along with the regular clients which means stds wouldn't be spread as easy as it is now, also I think their would be less rape crimes in the country.

pretty cool, i remembered this episode and it had similarities and it has to be the same guy. he killed himself in a car, liked bondage and killed three or so girls, the final victim who got away was in sc. they didn't name him on i survived though.
