I just lost my bunn bunn girl today..It was the sadest moment of my life..having to put her to sleep..she was in pain,and there is nothing more we could do for her..she had apparently lungs infection..for over a week we took her to treatment everyday..she couldn't fight anymore..i let her go today..i hugged her and kissed her and told her how much I love her.and let her go..she was just like a person to me,she was my soulmate friend and she will live forever in my heart! :(..Rip Pippi and Cookie

My bunny passed today. I wish I could've done everything i could for him like you did for Pipi. I didn't know he was that sick. He passed while I was driving him to the vet. I should've taken better care of him. I should've hugged him to the vet. He must've been in such a torture. I don't know how to make it up to him. I couldn't even make up for all the times I ignored him. I was going to buy him an inside cage. and get him neutered next month. But he left me. He must hate me so much.

I lost my first bunny in late 2007 too - she had e.c. and was 13-1/2 so couldn't fight it. It's a terrible disease -- as you said, with lots of tears and frustration. The heartache is still there. A year later, I rescued two brothers from a shelter after the rest of their litter had been put to sleep. They look exactly like Pippi, except one has up ears, and one is half lop.  I will think about your Pippi now whenever I look at them, and send you healing thoughts.

E.C is horrible and i hope i never have to deal with it again...,it was just sad to have had to lose him in such a way...I really do miss him heaps.

Pippi had a lot of health issues due to having EC,EC is just a nasty and horrible parasite that took my boy from me we were at the vet every week for check ups,he was also on Panacur for quite a while,still nothing was going to have made him better..at one time he had nystagmus...which made him unbalanced...it was a sad thing to have to lose my beloved bunny in a devestating way

Mine died of abscess's and finally the vet said they would keep coming back so i had him put to sleep by far the hardest thing i ever had to do i got a couple opinions that said they could get them off for the meantime but within 2 months he would not be able to drink and eat again
