@quakov standard is blue, but for special ceremonial occasions, whites are authorized. the silent drill team, the presiden't own band wears whites. officers may choose to wear whites for wedding ceremonies and such.

My uncle, who fought in Korea, lived with the agony caused by shrapnel hitting both legs, but he never showed his pain. He was strong and I will always have so much respect for him.
When he died, one of the Marines at his funeral took a brief moment to look at his casket, which was his way of showing condolences and respect. I will always remember that.

CIA and other special operations operatives are definitely in there first, but marines are the first to truly go in with the bullseye on their backs. The other listed groups use covert tactics to remain hidden, marines are the tip of the spear that the enemy knows and sees coming, yet they still are willing to go first. That takes an extreme amount of courage and self sacrifice.

I absolutely adore the Marine Corps!
My uncle, who fought in Korea, lived with the agony caused by shrapnel hitting both legs, but he never showed his pain. He was strong and I will always have so much respect for him.
When he died, one of the Marines at his funeral took a brief moment to look at his casket, which was his way of showing condolences and respect. I will always remember that.

Your video is beautifully moving. My husband was so proud to have been a marine during the Korean action. He used to say once a marine, always a marine....it becomes a part of who you are that doesn't change with time. Until the day he passed away at 72 years of age he still was a marine in his heart. God bless all the men and women who protect our country.

my dad was marine my older brother was marine and me i was army still i served and im proud ,god bless and watch over all in the armed forces ,they sacrfice so much to make sure we get all the bennies of being americans and living with all the the stuff we take for granted ,i hope and pray that at the end god takes each of us aside puts his hand on our shoulder and says you did good .

you know i love the marines but thing about them always being first in, the CIA 99% of the time is first in usally with navy seals from devgru or delta operators, green berets, i mean the marines are just now truely establishing a jsoc unit with marsoc, but they still rock and i mean no disrespect

CIA and other special operations operatives are definitely in there first, but marines are the first to truly go in with the bullseye on their backs. The other listed groups use covert tactics to remain hidden, marines are the tip of the spear that the enemy knows and sees coming, yet they still are willing to go first. That takes an extreme amount of courage and self sacrifice.
