  • GO SOONERS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • Stan Miller in Oklahoma?? LOL he use to be in San Diego.

  • You guys are wrong... they even said on the news that it was absolutely NOT caused by fracking and backed it up from experts and geologists . Look it up!

  • Stan Miller is such a douche.

  • Comment removed

  • @08ashu01 NO it wasn't! Read up!

  • Wow, i think in Chili they lived 8.8 Earthquake

  • Stan Miller, the news anchor in this video, used to be here in San Diego, CA!

  • @fhood .. LoL crazy huh.. I knew I recognized him.. Oklahoma.. wow BIG CHANGE from San Diego to there.. feel sorry for him

  • It's not earthquake country. Call me when freeways start collapsing. Freeways that everyone drives under 60mph in Oklahoma.

  • CAUSED BY FRACKING. The corporations are causing earthquakes so they can extract natural gas and they couldn't give a S#$%.

  • @jefft78 No it wasn't!! Read your facts from the news and the geologists and how deep the quake was.

  • thin in 2011 old friend is back it mr earthquake

  • 3 quakes?

  • 2012

  • please, I have slept through a couple 5.0's in L.A., that 4.5 must have tickled!

  • i was in class at norman high 1st hour when it happened a kid ran out the room screamn mommy hahaha XD

  • tornadoes, floods, earthquakes, thunderstorms, snowstorms, what doesnt oklahoma have lol

  • lol this didnt even roll my pencil off meh desk

  • more drilling for fossil fuels and natural gas, fracking = more earthquakes

all autos, trucks, and generators can be powered more efficently with hemp oil! we do not need the oil cartel, war in middle east, is ra el, and destoying our planet by the corporations of evil and total control! good vid thanks!

  • @Jellypigs96 same, man it was weird.

  • Sorry, I sneezed

  • i was at school when this happened and i heard the boom and everything started shaking. it stopped after a couple seconds and we were all screaming. then this girl just said calmly, "was that an earthquake?"

  • I remember this earthquake. I stayed home sick with the flu and it shook my house. It sounded like a large boom and everything shook. I didn't know exactly what it was but I found out later it was an earthquake.

  • Im In West Arkansas And I Don't Felt A Thing And How Come People From Texas, Kansas And Northwest Arkansas Felt It And I Dint??

  • ......and it wasn't even THAT big, but yeah this IS Oklahoma....... I come from Los Angeles....

  • Oh wao! An earthquake....... Ohhhh my GOSH!

  • I was by Norman North and thought it was an airplane crash bc there's an airport close by. I realize we sound like pansies but quakes that are felt statewide are a rarity here. I agree with the tornado comments below. People have shit fits over small ones in other states. We only do here if they are an F3-5. So I get the people who are desensitized bc they've been in more quakes than us. :P

  • I work in a 5th floor office on NW Expressway & we felt it there. The building shook & we were all like "WTF, was that an earthquake?!"

Lol... pretty cool, never been in one before :)

  • Haha I go to norman north. and we were doing the pledge when all of the sudden we heard a rumble, and the te walls and floor started shaking!!! it was pretty sweet, then scary at the same time.

  • @soonerfan634 I go to NNHS too! xD I loved that, we were all standing.. and in my class a couple fell

  • Did he say "rooster" scale?

  • @Mom2Christian He mispronounced Richter scale like "rishter scale", lol...

  • To the geniuses commenting about how the earthquake was weak and all, you may be right, but it is very unusual here in Oklahoma. I don't even think it is all that big of a deal, just very odd and kind of amusing. I'm sure if you live in a place not prone to tornadoes and a tiny F1 hit and knocked a few trees down, people would flip shit. Same thing.

  • @theXhoard lol yep..i'm from CA, and when we get little weak tornadoes, they break in on tv shows for it....people freak out....makes me laugh...

  • I go to Norman North, and we were taking the PSAT x_x gosh. It was creepy

  • Either Ohio state tried to take out Oklahoma sooners orrr the world will end in 2012 or it was just one of the 70ish quakes we have a day but we could actually feel it. I'll go with the first one. ;p

  • 1:57 Did he say "ROOSTER SCALE"?!?!

  • @brodank lol yep he did!

  • we were in geography class and we just had finished our test on plate tectonics and this was a great experience for our 7th grade class.

  • @jjohnston2 Im in the 7th grade also in Norman! go to Irving

  • What the hell was an earthquake doing southeastern of the United States?

  • I was taking the PSAT when this happened... stupid quake broke my concentration.

  • @gamehero77 I was taking it too.. what school? o_o

  • @AmberheartDaMeddyCat Moore High

  • @gamehero77 Oh. o3o I'm from NORMAN NORTH

  • @AmberheartDaMeddyCat awesomesauce do you go to moore-norman?

  • @AmberheartDaMeddyCat haha ya, like 3 people fell, i laughed, although it moved my desk.

  • It wasn't really that bad IMO... A few liquor bottles fell off the shelf that's all lol.

  • we just left norman on monday....we missed it..darn!! earthquakes and tornados..you guys have the best of both worlds...

  • @Maineysanjose, I know that, but any pressure shifts in the midwest might contribute to it's instability. These systems are imperfectly understood.

  • 4.5 isn't shit! I grew up in Southern California and we were used to bigger earthquakes than that. Those people will be OK.

  • @checkers1245 Yeah, its the sky that usually tries to kill us with tornadoes and all. Earthquakes is a not so pleasant surprise for us.

  • @checkers1245 im only 13 and it was my 1st earthquake it was coool lol

  • That is a pussy quake

  • Their trying to take out the OU SOONERS!!!! Because they are the very best football team in the country!!! hands down! am I right? huh? come on people!

  • A bit unsettling. I hope the New Madrid fault isn't getting ready to let loose.

  • @StinkFingerr it wasnt on the new madrid fault.

  • I felt it today in Tulsa. I though I was back in Los Angeles. I wasn't shocked after being in some big ones in CA. I though it was a 3.5.
