And BTW, it's much cheaper to keep inmates in jail for life than it is to execute them. I'd rather have my money be going towards schools, hospitals, health care, etc, which the death penalty deducts money from ALL of those things and results in inmates getting out early due to lack of money, idiots.

And as for "learn to write", most people learn that at a very young age, actually. As for me, I am quite clever, and I can spell Gypsy properly. And also, you learn to write. You spell "you're" with an apostrophe. And I can't write?

@Kilmanan I hope you know innocent people are executed, too. By that "logic" YOU deserve to be killed. You can never be 100% sure you have the right man EVERY time, duh. And no it's not a deterrent, states which use the DP have MUCH higher murder rates than states that DON'T. And BTW, convicts are actually released early BECAUSE of the DP and its high costs:

So it's YOU who's letting convicted killers go free in using the DP (due to lack of money), not us.
