  • @Tj1056 good point. but then again. when u accelerate the weight goes to the rear wheels. kinda like the 350z has a 52/48 weight distribution. because under acceleration weight movees.

  • lol im just messing sir. i only put that up for the sake of argument sir. i too once fancied a 350 short block in an fc(btw did you know it doesnt affect your weight ratio since it weighs about the same. incidentally for the sake of argument. if one were to use an rx8's engine would it also be as user unfreindly as the older model?

  • @chinostylin well the only different about v8 and rotary is that the weight is more centered in the rotary and the v8 is unstable/uneven when on... so the v8 makes the weight distribution more to the front with how it runs... I can not really explain it to well atm lol.... like how it runs like the cam and stuff makes it run rough like move all over the place :p

  • rotarys do not suck sir. ur just going the easy route to make power and putting in a v8. in the end that 1.3 liter made more power with less.

  • I have been though 10+ rotary engines now. They do in fact suck quite a bit. They are less efficient, require more fuel, more parts, more attention, more cooling, more money, are super loud, smelly, and old. It's a 22+ year old engine setup that has had little to not updates. In the end the 1.3L is really sucking in MORE air and requiring way MORE fuel than a 5.7 V8 to make the same 300 rwhp. My T04S 13-BRE turbo build made same hp as LS1 is completely stock. What one is going to last longer?

  • @tweakgames o yea you are comparing old to new... compare it to a lt1... thats about even but the lt1 is not made with aluminum parts so its heavy as shit... you can buy 13b aluminum parts now to make it lighter thus making it faster like they did with the ls1... I would have to say you need to compare the 13b-rew tho since it is more in the lt1 year range anyways...

  • @tweakgames i know what you mean my buddy has a 1986 rx7 and it makes okaypower but drinks gas and my other buddy has a 1995 lt1 trans am it makes atleast 10 more mpg then the rx7

  • was it difficult to turbo the NA engine? how's it running right now? Are there any problems trying to turbo the NA?

  • FUN FACT: A 13B TII engine only has 4 ports, where as an N/A 13B has 6 ports.

  • well if its an na-t then what did u do to make that t2 intake manifold that u can clearly see under the top mount. yes there are ways you can modify the lower manifold but only a hand full of people can doo just curious who did u get to do yours

Shit, what are those. It takes very little time and skill to make it a bolt on affair. ZERO welding required. You just hog out the outer most intake ports on the mani to match the holes in the 6 port gasket.

  • cant be completely sure but that looks exactly like a TII setup. either thats what you where going for, or you did a swap. and if thats the case, then it would not be a N/A-T, but a GTU to TII swap.

    i have a 91 S5 N/A. i have been thinking about either swapping or just going turbo on basically N/A rotors and transmission.

  • You are all retards. It is an NA engine, that has had the stock turbo put on it, with all the necessary mods to run it. Stop over analyzing the video. It's a stupid NA-T rotary. Rotary sucks, going LS1 now. Idriftfc, I obviously put on the turbo hood, (that is a different color than the car lol), and intercooler, injectors, and all that bs. Get over yourselves.

  • @tweakgames you do realize that the N/A and turbo rx-7's had the same 13B engine? so by adding the stock turbo and all necessary mods u kind of turned it into a turbo-II clone

  • so what did you do to convert to turbo? is it cheaper to get used TII parts, and convert, or to just pay the extra 3g's for a TII... I know the TII has better brakes, and stronger drivetrain. (supposedly) but I suspect just a stronger driveshaft, and LSD but even the GSL has an LSD
