It's kind of hard to say, but with the right parts and tweaking on the ion you got yourself a decent marker. For me I got that ion for a fair price with great parts and tweaking it shot quieter and had less kick then my Marq 6. At the time I needed money so I sold it but I would've kept it. Great backup marker since their dirt cheap now.

Well first off your optimal psi on the Ion should be between 180-200 on the gauge unless you're talking about the FPS (Feet per second). You need to remove the rubber grip on the Ion and at the very bottom on the sides you'll see a portion where a hex key goes you'll increase or decrease by turning it. There's lots of troubleshooting answers on PBnation under the Ion Section

You can use Co2 but I dont highly recommend that. "nitro tank" and HP are the same thing just different term. You should definitely invest in a carbon fiber HP tank not only because its better for your gun but if you decide to upgrade to a better marker you can use the same tank and not waste any money on a steel HP tank or a siphoned c02 tank.

I bought my ion fully upped for $150 used on a local paintball forum and i'd advise you to do the same because bone stock ions can be found for $50 if you look hard enough. and the "feeder" i think you mean feedneck yes it sucks thats one of the first things you should upgrade a clamping feedneck and you can get a single one piece CP barrel for like $30 they are great. Well the only difference between an Ion Xe and orignal ion is that the Xe has the bolt out the back which you can easily take out unlike the original ion which you'd have to fully take off the frame and unscrew a bunch of other things just to get to the bolt.

Yeah I like(liked it) sold it to a friend. Honestly it was one of the best Ions I owned. The one in the vid was maxxed out on ups except the trigger frame. Shot smooth and quite similiar to a Shocker and the had kick was less then a Marq 6.
