This was not a Chrysler proposed design BTW ,it is not a Lamborghini ! The Lamborghini engine was built for the M12 and was not as used in the Diablo ! ithe engine is assembled different as the gear box is mounted behind the engine and not infront as the Diablo other way round

Rich is correct. I have some old video's of us (Rich and I in my car and Dave in this car) cruising around and racing down the highway in my RX-7 (396RWHP at the time). This is the only car to beat me on the highway. It was very close but Im a dumb@ss for underestimating it and not dropping to 3rd. around 130mph or so I was about a car length behind and gaining, then Dave hit the brakes. I will post one or two when my net is back up to speed, Should be around Fri. or Sat.

The Red White and Blue Vector M12 was #1, the Yellow one was #13 (if I remember correctly) my brother used to own both of them. Don't believe me? Let me fill you in on a little history of the vehicle. First of all the Gearbox in the Yellow one came out of the Red White and Blue one after my brother pushed the original gearbox to its limit and broke it under torque.

This was my brother car at one time, Dave Sawyer. He also owned the First Vector M12 (Statue of Liberty) car. Let me tell you a little secret... The original trans was broken. Then the trans was replace with the one from the first M12 into this one. I have video of this exact car running on the highway.

When I first saw the W8, I had issues with these cars. it was only because some journalist was biased on the side of Vector. The car was pit against a Testarossa and a Countach (the journalist admited that the Countach was running poorly needing a tune up, carbs needed rebuilt and Vector ran twin turbos) so the journalist touted the Vector as the greatest car ever. After these many years, I kinda like the Vectors and forgot what that dumb ass wrote.

The only thing that sucks about this car is the yellow paint. Other than that, This car is awesome! And screw you people saying it sucks. The only reason this car sucks, other than the paint, is because this car went throught a harsh stage back in 1995 - 1999 where there was unclear ownership of vector. This is a true AMERICAN Supercar besides The Ford Gt, and Saleen S7.
