man... the only companies that still cares alot about the quaility of their mecha series is gainax (tbh its more like one dude who's a douche bag and never told us what happen in the end) and Bones (which is a company full of people from sunrise)

sunrise itself has completely and utterly failed my expectations and should just die, but stupid bandai keeps getting them to make more bad toy commercials and cause a lot of misery on the side of an elitist's brain (mine)

char and amuro's fights in CCA imotbh are one of the best circus moments. even the grunts from that movie moved like they were on macross missile steroids.

animation quality =/= cg sparkles

isometric -> 3D and then viewed from very far away 3D point of views are barely done in gundam anymore, all you get is some badly made mesh that is pretending to carry a meaning or pretending to not be made for show

in this sense, the Nu gundam was the best gundam both made and not made for show.

personally i feel it is absolutely necessary for scrub directors (which accounts for everyone that isn't doing a godly harem or magical girl anime, for some UNKNOWN REASON??) these days to watch their finish product while AKIRA or something similarly awesome is played on a screen next to it.

when the action of their series is beautiful enough to catch tehir own eyes, it would be barely good

for every action there was an equal and opposite reaction, there was motion within motion, and near seamless hot blooded action that doesn't feel awkward at any moment

Missile inspiration get! I got this video link from a game called SPAZ.

The most liberating missile experience i've had was through the armored core video-games. Fast ac pilots could dodge the smartest of missiles and tracking systems, but just barely. By moving in a "8 shape" it was possible to dodge the kind of tracking that would try to shoot ahead of you, as well as any homing missiles if you're fast enough. So solid!

"Itano Circus" to describe the whole acrobatic fighting style Ichiro Itano is known for.

"Macross Missile Massacre" to describe the mass launching of missiles

"Roboteching" to describe the missile paths.
