thought i'd start up a youtube playlist and just put the classic house i remember from back in the early to mid 90's, but i've already reached the 200 track limit for youtube playlists!
THE BASS IN THIS TRACK ROCKS MY 2 15's MY CAR EVERYTIME I PLAY THIS TRACK And every one ask me is that HOUSE ? (LOL) I reply, Hell Yeah !!! The Murk BOYS !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
The vocal in this song has stuck with me as a personal mantra for about 10 years now. Did Karen Pollack do anything else? I haven't tracked down much else but this song. The hypnotic groove wih the bell sound snaking around this vocal is pure dancefloor genius and uplifting as the best church music. I heard this on the doc martin house music movement cd for the first time then again in a mix by detroit's dj echo from a live recording at a club or event called spiritworks.
How can this side have so few hits? This is one of the most relentless jams around, without a doubt---*Snorts ground-up elves off toilet tank in grimy bathroom, kicks down door, dances frenetically, clutches heart, collapses on dance floor amidst the rising clouds of baby powder...*

Indeed circa 1992 was a great era for house music, especially the stuff coming out of New York City.
