  • It's too bad music like this can't crack the Top 40. It's better than most of the popular stuff.

  • hey there, this song is very beautyfull composed, when something comes from the bottom of your heart, its like magic, through shadows to the edge of night, greets from germany

  • i think the new linevinema and jackson are like gollum. they will take any chance to take your nacke and squize it. they are taking all the fantastic work of tolkienn and making it to a making money machine and all the fantasy is gone.

  • That's nice Colin. I've never been a big a fan of Tolkien like I am of Lewis and Williams, but you make me wish I were.

  • I love the 'mad world' feel this has. Don't know if you were thinking of that song while writing it. Either way it is a very fitting piece to match the lyrics.

  • Colin Rudd brings it all back home home- he's so down to middle earth

  • Wonderful . . . Brings back the Third Age of Middle Earth!

  • I agree with Rearda Tolkein would deffinantly approve... brilliant job

  • very good

  • I think JRRT would approve! Absolutely fantastic!

  • i like the song.

it's more you than tolkien and it's beautiful.

    very meditative.

  • No offence Melianatara but they sang quietly and softly because the Black Riders were searching for them....upbeat may have been too much of a risk...however, I'm sure they sing more noisily when they're safe and sound in an inn!

  • That's beautiful, my tune is a bit more upbeat, though, I probably walk a bit faster than a hobbit! :)

  • truly beautiful. i sing it differently though. i used Shore's melody but changed it a bit. love this though!

  • I am utterly speachless. That was.. *shakes head* I am simply at loss for words.

Your performing of that was one of /the/ most beautiful melodies I have ever heard in my life.

*attemps speech* As you play that, you paint images in my mind; I see the rolling hills of the Shire, I see the colors changing leaves spiraling twords the grownd, I see a grand fire and hearth...

*cannot regain abilty to form words, so simply closes eyes and hums with the music*

  • This is lovely. I've heard other renditions of that song, and I really like the gentler approach you took to it. Also, you play very beautifully.

  • Once again my eyes were filled with tears by hearing your song. You keep the real feeling ans spirit tha Tolkien has given to it. Did Pippin used your words when he made a song to Denethor? Lol

I remember when the four hobbits curved to the returned king and then he said they should never do ir for no one and then gondor curved to them. I cried like a crazy. lol

    BRAVO!

  • (to renanvcb) : not in the fucking book.

  • @quintaldo .Hear hear!

  • wow...you make Jackson's version of the songs look like another drama song heard on the radio! that was awesome! *thumbs up*

  • Once again excellent!

  • really great

  • Another excellent musical tribute to the good professor's work.
