I think I may have been traumatized from baby Melody disintegrating in Amy's arms. Seriously, if/when I have a baby I'm pretty sure this will be a reoccurring nightmare.
@boganlessons I do agree with you, it really does suck and whether or not I knew my child for five minutes or fifty years, I would be devastated if they tried taking her from me. But in a way, they did get to have influence in her upbringing. So, it's a sort of condolence for taking their child away. I know it's not much, but it's something, right?

I wish they would've been more realistic about how upset someone would be if they had their baby taken away, then found out she was their best friend, and didn't get to raise her, and then suddenly she is older than them and marrying their best friend. Just seems a little odd.

@boganlessons You have to admit, they only knew they had a child for a small amount of time before she was taken away from them. Then they learned after a couple of months that Melody is River Song, and they know how River Song turns out. So, they probably weren't superbly emotionally attached.
