does it matter if i leave a lumix dmc fz38 camera for about 1 hour to record then time lapse the video, if it does can you please give me a better way of recording a sunset with this particular camera. thank you
@bmxtricks123 I don't know if you can do real time lapse with this camera ( I mean shooting a photo every 5 or 6 seconds). But it seems you can record a "normal" video and then speed it up with the software of your choice. Search for "fz38 timelapse" on youtube you'll find people who have made timelapse with a fz38, maybe you should ask them.
I'm using a DSLR camera (canon 30D) and a remote control (canon TC80-N3) that allows me to take a shot every x seconds automatically. Then I feed the photos into a software (I'm using nandub which is free) that will create the video. And that's all !
Do you think that you could send me that video in an email, i really love it and i would like to use it for a project. It would be very helpfull. Please!!!

for this effect you take a picture and after 5 minutes another and another
and get about a 100 pictures and then when you play them together it looks like this
