Dude if I spent all that money on airship that can transform, Go Come apart in three more forms and I lost to a little plane that just gets upgrades. I would of stop after the first two missions!! (From a Bad Guy's point of view)
It may not be the hardest, but it is pretty damn tough. It's especially difficult because the skills involved in playing it are completely different from those required in other danmaku games. The polarity system really changes the dynamics of the gameplay and makes it way out of the ordinary.

to prove its all memorization, notice he still dodges once the bullets have been cleared off screen due to boss dying or a bomb. he dodging them from pure memory, the bullts on the screen are merely a reminder of what pattern is next.
Exactly. I've played a similar game looking for challenge called Mushihime-Sama, it is by the same company as this game I believe. Part memory, part dodging, and in my case, maybe a little bit of luck too will get you through.
And besides, as if there is any other game which doesn't require memory in some way to win. In FPS's, you remember how enemies move and how to aim for advantage, in games like Tetris you remember patterns to make lines. Memory, reaction time, and skill make the win.
And it seems like memorisation is derided because "Oh I can remember something that's easy", but memoristation goes hand in hand with execution. Memory is only the tip of the iceberg, it takes lots of skill to pull it off.
Myself I don't really like having to memorise and perfect runs in shmups. Playing for survival is fun enough to me but I won't go to a 2nd loop because 1) I suck and 2) Prefer a more relaxed freestyle approach.

this game is all memorization, not so much skill. once you've played it enough to develope skill, you lready know EVERYTHING by heart, so its kinda pointless considering it doesnt carry over to other shmups very well.
Gradius also involves memorization, because using the wrong power up at the wrong time can screw you over, yet unless you've played before you don't know what's coming next (and form a plan after several runs).
It's not all memorization. It's more about memorizing the different attack patterns and effective ways to dodge each one. You still need super fast reflexes and excellent coordination to do it.
I beat Gradius III and got relatively far in Dodonpachi and I'd say that they both made me a better shmup player, they just trained me in different aspects.
That said, this is excellent work. This game looks like the the first Dodonpachi on speed.
Holy shit, the hit count at the final.

Huhn.
Double Hibachi goes down faster than I expected, admittedly. I mean he still looks like ridiculous batshit insanity but still.

@TROLLSHITZ There is no such thing as "going overboard" in a bullet hell game. And there is no such thing as too hard to CAVE.

This debate has been rehashed so many times. It's a mix of dodging and memorization. That's it.

Much respect to the masters though.
