The Hives didn't want their song be on the Nike commercial or on Cartoon network or anything, they had to because Tyrannosaurus Hives wasn't as well received as Vendi Vidi Vicious. It sold about 3/4 of the records VVV did. They had to pick up the lost slack with something before the B&W album to generate income and keep their label. It's the music INDUSTRY, it's a business.
