i love this drama! one of my favorites, it was touching, cute and heartbreaking. I gave this drama a part of my heart and it would sometimes accept it or stomp on it until i started crying. Truly a remarkable drama. :)

This drama was a great insight into the korean history and culture for an Indian like me. Ho Ji Won is such a talented actress! Learning 400 years old dances must have been a great experience for her, although with great difficulties. Kim Young Ae also performed very well, with that sweet but determined smile omnipresent on her face. Direction is of highest quality, and very imaginative.

Her drama always made me cry Damo, WHIB and now Hwangjini. I heard that she had to learn how all these dances and instrutment within a short amount of time, she did a wonderful performance. jiwon is stil da best 4 me she is 1 of korea's top n best actress.most pipol liked her potrayal of hwangjini in da drama.maybe if shg movie came out 1st der will be a comparison also with hajiwon.but it was the drama dat came out first and jiwon did a very good performance.anyway,shg was my fave i was really a keen fan of hers before butjiwon really mesmerized me n got me addicted with her in bali and damo,she's a very versatile actress.wel i knw shg wil also do good in the movie

she's okay.. the way the edited it made her look better than she really was. Lee Da Hae is a better and more graceful dancer.. but then again Lee Da Hae is a professional dancer and she hasn't had a chance to be in a period drama yet.

Song hye kyo will be a more accurate portayal of Hwang Jin Yi in her upcoming movie. The movie was announced before the drama with Ha Ji Won was even thought up. But bc of the huge attention the movie was getting, the T.V. networks decided to make a drama version of Hwang Jin Yi to- thus this drama came about.
