wow, you can play this, i might have been able to, but it's physically impossible for me to do so. not only did you learn it and memorise (and you hardly made any mistakes), but for starters, you must have a pair of real big hands mate!

i think you need to watch your tempo and rhythm a bit more.

but other than that, an excellent job!

I liked your version of the Ali Crawl. It was very well played. Your smile at the end of the performance indicated that you were quite satisfied. I did particularly like the bits that are not in the copy of music I have had for more than 50 years. I used to play the piece when I played in Pubs many years ago but have not ever heard Fats Waller play the tune until I found it on You Tube If you have time you could tell me where from where you obtained the Fats Waller transcript.

this version is different to the grade 8 piano version in england so they must be different versions.

the grade eight one isnt the original, there are many variations and this one is the original that he is playing i think.

i've got a feeling you've changed it alot. it shouldn't sound like that. you've added your own bits in which doesn't really suit the piece in my opinion. should've just stuck with the origional thing

i checked the australian associated board site and it has exactly the same pieces as in england and same grades

If you have small hands, there IS some hope :)

You've got to play the bottom note with your little finger, then very quickly move you hand up so that your thumb can play the top note (It takes practice, but it's possible)

If you want, you can also hold the pedal in between :)
