  • did this car end up being destroyed like all the others or did you have fun with it and then sell it or restore it?

  • @lucasorcorey

No man, this was one of the rare cars that was so awesome, that we kept it the way it was. I sold it a year or so ago. It needs a trans though. at a stop sign, I put it in 1st from drive the one time, and floored it, and it feel out of gear in the trans, then slammed hard, and really messed up some of the clutches or something. You had to shift it manually and accelerate slowly after that. But other then that, we kept it nice :)

  • @tommartyn thats good lol. glad to know that you know where to draw the line haha

  • LIKE A BAWSSSS!

  • Christ i love this vid! lol :D

  • @MrGuvEuroman

:) I'm with you there man. Love that car. Should buy it back from the guy we sold it to.

  • @tommartyn you should definely buy it back!

  • Its such a boat that u can drift from a dead stop

  • @tremer88

yeah man, its because the road leans pretty hard to the cars right. So as soon as the posi burnout started, it kinda just slid :) worked perfect.

  • @tommartyn the tail of that car came pretty close to that pole too! this car reminds me of a 70s mobster movie

  • Yeh ur right but they make crysler 300s which the call 300cs

  • @tommartyn hey man isnt a 300c a chrystler300

  • @Trebuer22

nah, the C doesn't stand for chrysler.

    This is just a

    1969 Chrysler 300

    no letter or anything.

some years before this one they had letters after the 300, but they did away with it for a while. i think the new cars they call 300's have letters after them.

  • 300C or H

  • @jrodthegreat1

Neither. Its a 1969 Chrysler 300. By this point they did away with the letters.

  • Now how could this look impressive from a smaller sized car eh?

  • @retroolschool

:) True true. it is way different coming from a huge, long, really heavy, powerful beast of a car.

  • Awesome! Wish the vid was in HD though... :(

  • @SeeleyBooth1990

:) Thanks! Yeah, i'll try to find the tape that footage is on, and upload a way higher quality version. It won't be HD, but a million times higher quality then this 2006 style YouTube video :)

  • i thought he was going to hit the pole with the back of the car

  • wow you almost took out that pole

  • what an asshole, notice the driver went off road into a shallow ditch of earth and grass where countless creatures live and breathe, try to survive and make a living while some inconsiderate yahoo screeches rubber and plows through it all as if nothing else matters, WHAT AN ASSHOLE!

  • @BozoGates

    "...with communication skills."

    Possibly lacking there...

You are honestly that upset with this amount of destruction to living creatures? Every time you walk on a lawn you kill countless creatures. any time people anywhere do anything they kill countless creatures. We are gigantic in comparison, and can't possibly avoid killing all the things we do, all day, every day.

When companies cut out area's of forest to build buildings on... THAT is something to be guilty about.

  • @BozoGates

As a person (i'm not saying you specifically) you cannot live your life on earth, being so overwhelmed by these kinds of deaths. It is a sad thing of course. I think about this anytime i mow my lawn, but you have to realize, that its just part of life. Creatures kill other creatures accidentally all the time. All those breathing creatures, all have much smaller life forms all around them that that accidentally kill themselves all the time... The only alternative, is suicide.

  • @BozoGates sounds like u shoulda been in that ditch

  • Its like drifting a bardge in venice.

  • @Jaket2000

:) hahah, Yeah, thats a pretty good comparison

  • So this is where all those skids on backroads come from. I always thought people just got in a shit load of accidents out there

  • @reddot44

hahah, yeah, hopefully its mostly just people having some fun :)

  • Man that fuselage shape really still has a look to it. Wish someone in Chrysler styling would attempt it again. The current 300 has the look...but is too short really.

  • @JWROWE3

Yeah, i know what you mean, the length of cars really has gotten way to short in general. Which would be a good idea for being able to see better and all, BUT, they raise all the trunks really high, and you cant see anything out the back... Stupid designing. This thing really has some awesome styling for sure. i drive past it many times a day at my house, and look it over almost every time :)

  • @tommartyn I was just eight when this style hit the showrooms, and it's one of those things that brings back happy memories. I owned a 1970 Fury II ex-cop car, and could never find the time to properly restore it. That low roof, high body was a good looker, but the GM fullsize cars of that era...71 forward looked so much more modern.

  • @JWROWE3 Too many pencil necked nerds in the government to allow good designs now regulating everything to death, that's why two of the big three car companies failed in part. That and there are gutless cowards out there who want there to be zero risk with everything who lobby to have everything regulated, I think it should be choice if you want a big car that gets 18 mpg or a shit box that gets 40 mpg, of what sort of safety features you want.

  • that probly took 30$ in gas

  • @wootwoot409

haha, gas was pretty cheap back then, comparatively, so MAYBE, it cost 25 cents :) MAYBE. this thing wasn't very bad on gas actually. It wasn't worked up or anything. just a stock 440 V8 with a standard 4bbl on it. Mopar's were normally pretty good on fuel back in the days of cool mopars :)

  • alot of baklls for such a huge car wow

  • @lawsamb946

haha, :) yeah, it had some impressive power :) thing is huge and heavy for sure.

  • Man he just missed that telephone pole it would have been bad news for the back side panels lol Nice popar

  • gorgeous car

  • It's not a "posi," it is a sure-grip!

  • Chrysler "Sure-Grip" ?

Sorry, didn't realize they were trade names. :) Thanks!

I guess thats right up there with saw-zall

  • Fantastic ! Thanks for showing this awesome car !

  • No prob! :) glad to share the awesome beast :)

  • What a vig beautiful car man reminds me of dwights old fury and my dads 73 buick electra i love those big old cars.

  • yeah! that thing is awesome. i miss it being on the road... Been sitting with from me breaking the trans for a long time now.

  • awe man 727s are easy to come by. just look through the nickel ads. i could get three of em tomorrow for less than $300 bucks...somtimes they have engines or the whole vehicle attatched to them though

  • Thx Buddy for showing the great Chrysler

    300 power!

  • Glad to share the vid man!

  • I think he broke the tofu.

  • WIN!!!!!!!!!!!

  • My parents had that car, and it was briefly mine. Great car, except I think it got about 8 miles per gallon and required premium leaded. I put all of my allowance into that tank!

  • DAMN XD

  • Just awesome,so cool..

  • Wow, huge burnout. Very nice.

  • haha thats one of the coolest things ive seen since sliced bread!

  • HAHA.

    A big old CHRYSLER.

where you manage to find ALL these cars tom,

    I don't know.

  • Nothin beats a big as Chrysler!

  • That really is a one big ass car! Wish i had one of those. Long live the good ol' Mopars.

  • Really great, but be careful. You almost hit that pole! That would be big damage to fix. It may be advisable to forestall such an eventuality.

  • i'm with you 100 percent, and thanks for the advice! since chryslers are unibody, that would do alot of serious damage.

  • Seriously, you'd probably do more damage to the pole. I know from experience...

  • love these cars! and it really goes!

  • IOWNED a '69 300..........BEST CAR I EVER OWNED. They are certainly capable of what yoiu portrayed in your video. I hope you only did that just that one time....take care of your automobile. It has the power...don't make it prove it unless you're in a pinch. When you need that engine it will be there for you. I miss mine. I miss mine alot. It's not a car...it's an automobile. ENJOY THE JOURNEYS!!

  • thank you man, we will!

  • this thing is a fuckin BOAT. watch man ya almost hit the 1/4 panel. lol. 440s are insane man. if u got it rebuild and cammed with some flat top pistons ud roast some fuckin rubber man. every stop light n stop sign u come across. but something kinda tells me u might do that allready??? wicked

  • Dude, a different make powerplant in a MOPAR? NEVER! That is an absurd comment. Love your car! Long live the MOPAR LAND YACHT!!!!!!!!!!

  • damn. huge ass car to be swingin' around like that. careful keeping it between ditches. :-)

  • You Guy's are the shiz my niz. It is so cool drivin' one of these around. Check this channel for some badass vids

  • where is that benz now? (whats left of it)

  • the front tires stoped cooperating with the steering wheel, and with each other, so it was un drivable. still ran and the trans worked though! that never changed! overheated it who knows how many times, and it never once cared! i junked it, got 150 bucks or more for it. the scrap guy said that the rear locked up on it when he was pulling it down the road! he had to let it down, and pull it from the back, so it was all over the place! those tires went where they wanted! i miss it

  • damn man that sucks. cause i would have bought that beast in a heartbeat. the old 300s are one of my favorite cars, and the body looks in real good shape.

  • i was talking about my mercedes 300D 5 cylinder diesel. the chrysler 300's still around, needs the trans rebuilt, slips bad, have to shift manually. and the radiator needs to be rebuilt, and the bushings for most of the front end stuff need to be replaced, i think i have alot of them though, and there are some rust issues here and there.

just wondering, how much would you pay for the best?

  • lol yeah i thought you said somethin about that before. i was wanderin what was up. but not too sure man. just try not to beat it up too much and i will check it outin the followin weeks and we will discus a price. also, with the exception of the radiator and the tranny you think it would make it at least an hour an a half down the road on the highway? like how bad is the tranny? will it shit ok manualy? or is it on the verge of going any mile now?

  • you are good, once you are on the highway. it's the city driving that you really need the rad

  • i don't know man.. that 440 dosnt seem to like the air-cooled way of life. we need to carve some fins around the cylinders for the air to flow over.

  • huh...

  • just crusing down the highway even with a little coolant left, it starts pinging, and sounding BAD. and if you turn it off, and try to start it again, it cranks too slow to start. bassically what i'm getting at is that it needs the radiator alot. its a very large vicious engine.

  • promise me u wont romp it out like that poor old mercedes

  • well, when it really comes down to it, i can't promise that kind of thing to anybody... but i doubt that will ever be romped like that. mainly because my friend traded me that car, and he'd be pissed if i did that. REALLY pissed. but if he dies man, i'll use the car the way i want. it won't take the same kind of beating the mercedes took though...

  • B E A utiful!!!!! in my top 5 fav muscle cars of all time!!!! GREAT vid 5 stars homie

  • thanks, yeah this insanely heavy car rocks! fast vicious power!

  • nice car...tommy i hope u didnt fuck up this car in the woods...this is a beauty! good torque

    -ali from pakistan

  • don't worry man, this isn't romped. now a days it nees a trans though... it is a beautiful car. insanely powerfull 440 goin on. 350 HP brand new.

  • jesus...imagine a Corvette LS6 or LS7 motor in this thing

take care of it, they dont build american cars like they used to!

    -ali

  • i deffinatly wouldn't want a chevy engine in this or any old mopar. the 440 is an incredible engine, and with some work, it could be even crazier!

man thats true, they don't build any worthwhile cars anymore... most places don't though really.

  • I love the Full size!! Mopar Ruless ever!!

  • My buddy just picked one of these up for $500. his is the 4 door tho. 440tnt and zero rust! The orig owner died 10 yrs ago and hardly ever drove it. It's been in a garage its whole life. I can't believe the shape it's in. The daughter was more concerned about liquidating all her dads stuff and wanted the garage cleaned out so she could sell the house.

  • DAMN that is THE exact car i am looking for!! i have been looking for a 2 door 69 Chrysler 300 for two years now, but all i find is crap for way too much money

  • now-a-days this thing needs a radiator, a Transmission rebuild, or replace, all sorts of front end bushings, the air shocks in the back need to be fixed or replaced. some holes in the floor need to be patched. i think my friend drew bought the car for 1200 dollars. pretty great deal! incredible car! i hope you find one!

  • wow thats cheap. its funny its even the color i was looking for... thanks, i wont give up

  • Hahahahaha,Awesome! I've never seen a C body sideways like that,on dry pavement!

  • you almost hit that pole.

  • true true

  • THAT WAS SWEET!!! I had an old Chevy Caprice Stationwagon with a big block that would get nasty like that. I miss it...

  • yeah, its hard to beat how fun it is swinging something that huge around. crazy amount of power! for the field we had a impala station wagon with a powerfull 350 in it, it wasn't posi, but it would spin around good out there.

  • I welded the spider gears in my wagon, good 'ol Lincoln Locker.

  • nice! we were going to do that to my dart, but it never happened for some reason. now the beast is gone.

  • u woulda loved it. we did it 2 my friends samurai on 35"s and he rolled it the next day.

  • Thats pretty crazy, had to be fun though. i should do that to my 81 toyota pickup romper that i'm welding back together. do it to the front and rear. even though the thing dosn't have powersteering... i'll just have to deal with it! its worth it for that kind of traction. there's been so many times when the angle of stuff has made two wheels diagonaly lose traction, and then we just can't move any more. that would deffinatly fix that

  • hey, i have a question about spider gear welding thing... do you have to head the spider gears up with a torch until they're red hot to do that? cause thats what we've heard, but we don't have a torch. also, what part do you weld? the actual gears, or where the gears go or something?

    Thanks!

    tom

  • we just drained all the lube out of the rear end and cleaned it up with some break cleaner and welded the spider gears to the pin that runs between them. we didnt heat them up ur anything like that.

  • Crazzzy LOL! i love that chrysler! i wish my lincoln was have the boat that beast is!

  • Love to see someone who gets the big beasts niec and crossed up

    Cheers

  • excellent video :) engine sounds nice!

  • sell the angel crusher? not currently. but if that ever goes down, i'll try to contact you through here or something. thanks! glad the videos were entertaining for you. we had fun making them.

  • Angel crusher! Great name. Seriously, I'd love another C and that one would fit the bill so definitely get a hold of me if you decide to part compant with it. I'm in PA too - maybe my brother and I will grab his old 85 W150 and come over and have some fun.

    Later,

    ~Q

  • sounds great man! if you ever want to do some romping come on over, theres a decent amount of field and woods here, and i know a few other places.

  • if i still had my ramcharger, i would hit you up for sure!

  • hey, if you've got anything else to romp, bring it on over. we've always got tractors to romp if nothing else!

  • hey! what engines in your brothers w150, if you don't mind me asking.

  • Having owned a 77 NYer & a 68 Newport, I've always liked the land yachts. I want that car! Are you interested in selling it?

Either way, love all your videos.

    ~Q

  • Sad to hear about your trans.

My 727 is weird too, it wont shift when conering, but I'm going to continue to pour all my hard earned money into this big beauty until it once sets sails, just like yours on the video. Last I went sideways, I broke a motormount, and from that moment, it was slipping when floored in low gears, sounding like the converter was full of pebbles. New motor mount cleared those problems though. Dude, I'll send you a mail! Rgds, Chryslerdude

  • The 69 was my friends, then he traded it to me. and the same thing happened with the motor mounts, they both broke, and that crazy sound was happining when you went sideways ans stuff. we thought it was the driveshaft rubbing on the body. terrible sound. 12 dollars later, it was all fixed though! and back in action.

  • Dude... this rocks, and it rocked all day. I pulled this video everywhere I came today, and everybody who saw it, liked it too. Futhermore, it totally burried my plans of selling my 1970 300. Cool, thanks, please UL more of that beautyful 69. Chryslerdude, Denmark

  • the car is insane. absolutely nuts, car that big with that much power. i'm glad your not giving up on your 70. that would be a sad thing. my 69 needs uppercontrolarm bushings BAD, and a transmission. it was accidentally put into reverse going 25-30 mph, it still worked fine for a week, then, from drive, i droped it to 1st,and floored it,it somehow went into neutral for a second and slamed hard into gear then went straight to 3'rd and slipped bad. now you have to shift manually. and it slips

  • this is so sweet a 20 ft car sideways

  • I like seeing people swing ocean liners sideways

  • amd we like swinging them!

  • Awesome^^

  • Cool burnout!!! I need to get my 70 300 back to life.

I need to post some burnouts with my Imperial....

  • can't wait to see them man!

  • power pole nicely avoided

  • Big block "C" bodies rock!!! Impressive
