  • While this is one of the most memorable commercials from my childhood, and is one that I will always love one thing that never made since to me is the line "Just like you."

What is this in reference to? It follows the line "Its for two" so is the girl implying that the guy has multiple personality disorder?!!

  • Comment removed

  • I always thought that was "Moose" from You Can't Do that on Television at 0:07!! Was I the only one??

  • Geniuses invent these kind of games. The most simple the most effective, but still you need the creativity to think of these shits. One simple peace of plastic with chips could be worth millions.

  • This game has been solved mathematically. The player that goes first can always win if he plays perfectly.

  • I'm glad I wasn't alive in the 80's. The ads were so creepy

  • Four Real!

    Four Everyone!

    Four Fun!

    Four Frodo!

    Four Score!

    Four Candles!

    FOUR-EV-ER!

    XD

    (Nostalgia Critic sent me, BTW)

  • By the way, thumbs up if you're here because of the Nostalgia Critic.

  • FOR FRODO

    You missed FOUR CANDLES

  • my grandpa always cheats when he plays this game

  • Hahahaha I'd be emberassed if I was in a commercial and dressed like that.

  • It's For two!

    Just like YOU >:(

  • At 0:20, what did the chef say?

  • @afriendofbean Fortissimo! (That happens to be a musical term, by the way.)

  • Thank you.

  • 0:13 The boy on the left was murdered 7 years after this commercial was made.

  • @over9000christian the FUCK are you rambling on about this shit in a CONNECT FUCKING FOUR commercial??!!

  • @over9000christian lol what the fuck dude.

  • man i wanna go back in time and let one of those kids play Mass Effect 2. They'll be like, "I dont get it how do i connect four!?"

  • I'm the kid in the lower right that says "For everyone!"

  • What is the knight saying?

  • Comment removed

  • For Sooth!

  • (or Forsooth)

  • @gaspassermd What does that mean?

  • On the internet I found that "forsooth" means to express disbelief, so I guess the knight must have meant that it's okay to feel sad if you lost a game of "Connect 4."

  • THIS is the Connect Four commercial I remember! yaaaaay

  • OLD SCHOOOOOOL :)

  • was it really necessary for them to put a Knight in there?

  • @hazeleyedbboy82 It was the 80's, you didn't need a point back then.

  • @hazeleyedbboy82 a blak knight*

  • bad azz

  • custer-- ahah they do still advertise it ..but only during xmas time...but damn, those commercials r sooo ghetto compare 2 them now..ahhaha

  • I think I'd only ever seen this once, circa 1985-6, the parts I remembered being the chef and the knight.

  • my god, what a relic from ancient history. seemingly. do board games still exist? and even if so, they are not actually advertised on TV, are they?

  • What have you been locked in your bathroom for 20 years? Yes, board games still exist and yes they are still advertised...

  • barely...

  • No, not barely. Do you have kids? If not, turn the TV onto a kids network. Nickelodeon Cartoon network... You have to think about what channel is showing what advertising. childrens networks are going to have the childrens commercials... That is where you will find them

  • I remember this commercial when I was a kid.

  • it's okay... you my baby sis.

  • Just so you know, I'm a guy.

  • ha, I was just posting something completely random. Yeah. I know....

  • These look like the same kids from the Operation commercial.

  • dam i remember this one keep em coming thks...

  • What the fuck

  • kool!!!! sweet memories!!!

  • As many times as I see this I always hear,

    "It's for fun,

It's for kids, it's for jews,(then she turns to that guy)

    Just like you.."

    Always makes me laugh..

  • It doesn't say "it's for jews." It says "it's for two."

  • does anyone have a link to the commercial about connect foru with the talking parrot and fish?

  • I almost lose everytime I play that. lol.

  • This reminds me of Christmas time when i was a kid :0)

  • Do you have a better copy of the video?

  • chuck norris can win in only three moves

  • Wow! I used to love this commercial. I was humming it at work today and thought I would look it up on here. I was shocked to find someone had posted it! Thank you so much for sharing this classic commercial!

  • Man, the 80's must've been great. I'm only 13 :( but oh well, people from 2010 will be like, woah... the music now sucks, the 2000's music was awesome :(

  • nuh uh the 2000s music sucks

  • @lzsthjp I know lots of reasons why life was better in the 80s and 90s than it is now. Sorry, I don't see how music is one of them...

  • @anticorncob6 hahaha dude, i made that comment two years ago. why would you even reply..?

  • @lzsthjp I usually keep strict to only comments 2 months old or less, but sometimes I disobey my own rules.

  • LOL this was an awesome commercial. back then in the 80s they had a way of making commercials very catchy and fun.... not like now.

  • Why Does this remind me of a Hollywood squares Ripoff ? but it's fun to look at anyway.

  • The only way that would work is if there are 7 celebrities, one for each column (not 42, no one has THAT kind of money). When a circle is filled, the star goes up one level. There are 6 rows meaning 7 floor levels. It would be played the same way as Hollywood Squares outside of that (filling circles).

  • Yes, finally, this commercial haunted me forever. Kind of cheesy compared to the one with the cartoon checkers.

  • YUS!

  • What does forsooth mean?

  • It means "in truth" or "indeed."

  • On the internet I found that "forsooth" means to express disbelief. I guess when the knight said "forsooth", he must have meant that you can feel sad if you lost a game of "Connect 4."

  • Took me years to figure out the knight was actually saying "forsooth".

  • LOL, me too. I remember thinking "why the hell is he saying 'Four Suits?'"

Then out of the blue one day, it just struck me -- "forsooth" as in "verily."

A little highbrow for the target audience, methinks...

  • 4 real! 4 everyone! 4 laughs! 4-tissimo! 4 winning! 4-get it! 4-give me! 4-sooth! 4 kicks! 4 keeps! 4 sure! 4 fun! Connect Four 4 LIFE!!!!

  • Isn't that Laurie "I'm Telling/Marlo and the Magic Movie Machine" Faso as one of the Connect Four circles in this commercial?

  • Geeze, I feel a little old now! Can ya dig the hair on those women?!
