@Wher3Wuzi payd around 1000 euro's for my computer and it works great. As long as you have a decent stationary with 64bit it should run okey.

The game kicks ass but I'm not a huge fan of the land battles. I miss the knigths and cavalry charges :(

I understand this is probably not the best place to ask this, but I need a second opinion. I have played the demo and it seems to lag a litte on high graphics, but not so much on med. I have a dual core 5200+ 2.60 GHz

3.00 GB RAM

32-bit operating system

and a 7600 GeForce

my question is basicly: will the full game lag like hell at med or high graphics with this setup? The Demo is smaller than the real thing, so I'm skeptic.

You'll probs get mainly med settings, perhaps 1 or 2 high settings, but equally it may lag a bit, the 7600 is good, but in relative standards to the graphics cards of today and say the last year its not that powerful, But if this guy is running well on med settings yours should match that, if maybe a bit lower due to the fact that his is Super Overclocked ! Hope this helps !

Lost because of incredible AI? I'd suggest that perhaps you lost due to your lack of understanding in playing the naval battles. You're movements were too tight/choppy. Many times you turned the wrong way.

Best thing about the game is the naval battles. The rest is shite. Worst CA game ever. Heres hoping gameplay patch this week inproves it. AI doesnt do naval invasions and is utterly retarded anyway, game is laggy no matter system specs, CTD very common... can go on...

Yap, must admit, that this is the worst CA game. Rome was a blast. So was medieval 2. But Empire is a huge dissapointment. AI is just horrible. Bugs and ctd's make it very annoying. The game has a lot of potential though. And hopefully modders will use it. :)

download for free evga precision and use it to overclock ur card until u reach the maximum possible frequencies. mine are now 500 core and 1000 memory from 400 core and 800 memory and it works very well :D My card is asus en7600 gs 256 mb. i wish u good luck if u try to overclock it xD

hmmm in terms of graphical variety ETW certainly made two steps back.... The clone soldiers from RTW are back. Just a single model for the pirates or sailors is just not enough :(

This game will run on your computer at the same settings as on this movie, because 8500GT is only a little stronger than a 7600GS. Well, maybe something you could set at high, but not shadows :P. And still in 1024x768, forget about 1280x1024.

if u get in the graphics menu u will see the max settings possible for ur pc.i putted all on medium,af 16x,unit size large,shader model 3(high) and heat haze on.u should be able to play at the same settings as me except the main settings which u should put all on high :D
