depends if its a com rat terrier that doesnt chase small animals then yes if its your every day one trainnig is needed

note i have 2 rat terrier im geting one but suggest if you can get one get a big cage high off the ground next if you can keep the dog out of the room at all times and introduce the ferret buy holding it and going near the dog see how it reacts to find a way to tame it.

remeber dogs can learn.

all rat terrier are deifrent but i say go for it. :)

what a sweet little ferret! they do the most comical things. i was at an animl shelter once when the lady was cleaning the ferret cages and we were playing with them. oh, they were so loving and playful.

they are my most favorite pets when they're trained. When i first got my ferret she was 1 year old and grew up with other ferrets therefore developing her bad habbits in biting. With a but of training she stopping biting and always licked me hehe

yes, they should be vaccinated for distemper and rabies, like a cat. De-scented they smell pretty much the same, but they can't "poof" or release a cloud of unpleasent oudor when frightened. Feed betrter food to reduce day-to-day smell. No, they do not really lost fur when old, but they do lose fur if they have adrenal disease, which is regretfuly common
