eddie had his hand surgery done i think after the tour, he said the hand is great he also said he plays like he was 18 again.

First show of the second leg, hadn't played since Vegas new years. You're probably right Lisa, your first comment. )

He really hit some crazy harmonics w/ that stick,and it turns out wolfgang II is a heavy bluesman. It's just that the whole solo is so musical. Incredible high notes. The crowd really got behind him at the beginning. It started in the back .. "eddie , eddie".

Next thing you know the whole place had joined in. It was amazing. My hat is off to the good people of Oklahoma.

Well, i just found out from a good source that he has really bad tendinitis in his left hand. Look at the hand, its bandaged. I know someone on the tour (this is why he has sucked bad). The hand gets very swollen and painful. It is also the reason they stopped touring temporarily. I do agree he also appears to be hittin the bottle or drugs again too....but the tendinitis is the issue that prevents him from scorching live!! He'll be back...hope they figure out the hand problem!!

Christ, he kicks fukin ass here but some solos from this year have just been painfull to hear. How can the same man perform so differently just nights apart? Its like a different dude up there sometimes, but this IS eddie

Agreed. I think what you are seeing when one solo is briliant and another not so much is maybe Eddie still is fighting the bottle. No reason to be judgemental here; everyone has their demons to fight...some of ours are just 'public', so to speak. My prayers go out to him. Also, VH ROCKS!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Why couldn't he play the tapping bit at 3:30...in Toronto? It's too bad he's not this consistent. He really was ON in OK.

2004 was the worst Eddie ever, the only time he has sounded bad IMO. Even 98' w/ Cherone he had the tone.
