This is the first time I saw this figure in something other than in pictures. I thought he looked great in robot mode but the spin really ruins what could have been a fantastic figure.

In vehicle mode he is a bit cheesey but not that bad.

robot mode on optimus looks great, the viehicle mode sucks though. Megatron is ok.. but why is he green?

@lunacy05 for some reason, my figure's locking tab does not work. This figure looks good in robot mode but is just junk.

Not mentioned in the instructions, but if you pull the lever that makes him spin, his chest will lock into place. I had a bit of a hard time with mine on the first try, you have to pull hard, but it'll make it so you can pose him and he'll hold that pose.

I have to agree with ya dude on the Prime from this set. I have heard VERY BAD things about this guy. And I Hate the spinning feature on this guy. The megs I have not heard the best of either, but i hear he`s mildly better. I ordered one of the SE-02 editions off ebay the other day so i will soon find out. Great review tho dude. Its fine to show us something bad so we can appreciate the good figures :D

I know what u mean about the spinning feature i hade the same problem so I modified it so it can't spin and changed some of the colors also the truck mode sucks balls as for megatron I'm currently changing the green ether to tan or silver

Yeah this is kind a lame..my first one is loose and the exclusive one I have..much more sturdy. Cool review man nice and clear. Nice comparison. Doesn't the stacks come off..not so good for goods then..lol Cool bro. Liked.

I have this figure...I hate the gimmick, and the truck mode looks bad...but if you pull the tab that spins it out a little, it will lock the upper torso ( at least it does on mine) ...the robot mode looks pretty good if you lock that. I dont like the gun ( I prefer the original or the g1 cartoon 1) ...however, the megatron that comes with this is horrible !!! But to each their own, and good review. Glad you went heavy with the flaws ( cuz they are pretty big ones).

@sportswolf3 well, try this...Crazy Glue it,lol...Im sure that will stop the spin. I guess I got lucky with mine being able to lock. Eventually ill review it and Ill demonstrate the locking. Too bad, cuz when it locks, provided the joints arent all loose, it makes for a decent display peice, especially if you dont have a lot of space for the bigger ones,lol. Anyway, again, great review.
