My Update - Hair Maintenance

How often do u wash ur hair with the crochet braids in??

@Sheacutey I varied cuz it really depended on how sweaty or how much product, so from 1 week to 2 weeks, cuz my hair is inside the crochet braids, almost like treebraids, if you will; and really not rubbing the hair but scrunching it gently so that it doesn't frizz. If any frizzing occured, (which for me were very few) I trimmed it off. Hope this helps answer your question

@Sherunda LOL! Hi! Thanks for watching! It took about 6 hrs the first time; cuz I was stopping and recording and taking pics for the video and then the 2nd time with my daughter's help it was like an hour and a half and I just let the camera record the whole process.

I looked everywhere in my city for the water wave too and I couldn't find it. So, at your suggestion, I got two packs of the deep wave because I wanted a bit of a looser curl. I'm gonna try it for the first time tomorrow, so I hope I don't mess up, lol. Thanks for your videos! They've been a huge help.

Yes, I finally found the water wave but I've noticed that the tighter/smaller the curl pattern the frizzier and shorter the timeframe you can wear the style. So I'm sticking with the looser, curls. LOL! I hope it all works out for you, take your time, you'll find what works for you as time goes by. Hope you share yours! :D

Sorry for the late response, I used Creme of Nature's moisturizer in the yellow bottle with blue writing. Also, IC Activator for frizz. This is like 3 weeks into the style. Not a daily thing. :D

Thanks! Yes, that Deep twist really lasts, to me at least. Definitely use a tiny bit of moisturizer on the ends so they separate easily. :D

Thank you very much! It's a cheap KleanColor nail polish called Red Heart! But what's surprising is how long it's lasting since I did it! I wash my hands a lot and it's still on! So for 1.69 that's a great deal! LOL!
