  • what sick things i saw, makeout sessions bicycle messengers punks and highschool dropouts

  • @mranachy03: That's what I'm saying!! I posted the above comment like a year ago and people are still giving me shit about it! @ everyone else giving me shit: kindly fuck off. So I gave up video games(more or less) like 10 years ago, and i could give a shit less about basketball, not knocking it, just not my scene. My point is that if you watch any other Jawbreaker video on youtube, you will just see comments from Jawbreaker fans..comments about the band, Wow imagine that!

  • This sums up a break up perfectly

  • That girl that showed up with another dude is a heartless bitch.

  • Am I the only one who searched this song just to listen to it, because I love Jawbreaker.

  • I don't know anything about video games, but I have listened to Jawbreaker for almost 20 years. This brings back some great memories. Thanks.

  • Jesus Christ everytime I find a new band I like I realize they were on the NCAA 2006 soundtrack. Seriously, Jawbreaker?? God I would love to meet whoever chose the music on that game.

  • If these songs all came out in the nineties, the msic dude for that game was one of us. I don't like that a bunch of my favorite tunes are on a cheesy video game, but you know that guy or girl was listening to the same shit we were in the nineties. There aren't very many of us.

  • The beginning of the song popped into my head today. Didn't know who it was by, then I remembered and thus went to youtube. I burned the whole Dear You onto a cd-r, never owned the actual album before. I think this was when something was wrong with my audio on my comp and I wanted some music and I remembered "Fireman" from MuchMusic/FUSE.

  • Soooo, I remember back when I was like 8? Maybe 9 I dunno'. Im 14 now and this game was out, and ALL my dad did was play it. I could never beat the team he created. But I could hear him in my room 24/7 creating new teams with my mom and bragging about it to me in my face and such. The only good thing about it, is that I got to hear ALL these amazing songs at about 6 or 5 in the morning. My dads in Iraq now, I'd give anything to get those days back mann ~ :3

  • Hey really quit arguing and being better than somebody! Good for Blake! maybe he appreciated getting paid a little for the video game referenced?

I listened to this music before and after the throat cancer since '92, and still find it playing in my head plenty of mornings. Yes it is in fact respectable music, I really like his writing in particular. Not to many writers of our era outlast the ephemeral memory of kids who went to the show the way his has.

  • i find ppl hating on those who heard this from NCAA football 06 kinda like hypocrites...that was how i was introduced to this song; everyone here got introduced to this song at some time or another in some different way or another. if you hate on one way of being exposed to this song then you might as well hate on all other ways to become exposed to this song be it video game, radio, itunes, relative, etc. the way you learned of this song does not make you any better than the rest of us

  • @40warrior

The rock genre...espicially the punk genre has always been like that. I heard this song before NCAA 06 but was really happy when it was on the soundtrack. I was even more happy when y friends said this was one of the best songs on the soundtrack. It's nice to know the band is being introduced to new people even though they broke up in 96.

  • @40warrior Actually it does. This music isn't for jocks. This music was made by and was for those who who didn't prescribe to falling in line. 15 years later--what do we have? "Respectable music" for those who wouldn't have turned an ear to it then until it's on a bloody videogame. Get off the couch and look around--there's a lot out there...

  • because i make 1 comment does not justify you thinking about me as a jock or conformist. would you rather this song not be listened to by those of other generations and just die without a legacy as being "respectable music," id just assume youd be happy that this song still lasts and is exposed to other people who enjoy it. i know what you mean but seriously why the holier-than-thou life advice? i dont need it and i enjoy finding this type of music via any way i can (radio, game, dont matter)

  • @ZachWildSuxxx

I bet you were listening to Good Charlotte and Simple Plan long before you found Jawbreaker lol

  • I love this song. I guess it is so close to my own personal experience of living as a young person in a big city that I just relate. Always have related to it. Always will. That is why Jawbreaker endures.

  • Did the singer start another group?

  • @fitbmxseries1 he started Jets To Brazil after Jawbreaker, also a really great band. I think he started another band after JTB broke up too..

  • 1 douchebag missed the like button.

  • 1 Retard missed the like button.

  • I don't love the song, but I love its lyrics..

  • LOL! Why do people get angry when others like a song they heard on a video game, search for it and post they heard the song on the game? If you didn't play the game, fine. But don't judge people over petty nonsense.

  • who cares if we heard it from a video game, stop fucking bitching we like this song just as much as you do.

  • ...He said "I even cooked her breakfast." Awesome

  • then the cops showed up.

  • My band just covered this song, it's one of jawbreaker's best

  • wow. people posting crap about video games. lame. was I the only one to search this song that has never even heard of that fucking game?

  • @slopium nah, not the only one, love this song. might be good to remember that blake wrote some video game reviews back in the day ;)

  • @slopium No.

  • @slopium I know dude. But if it hadn't been for the game everybody's mentioning. I never would've been introduced to the awesomeness that is Jawbreaker. I started looking around for more of their stuff after I heard this tune.

  • @slopium give people a break (albeit you posted this 9 months ago..) you should be glad a video game led people to good songs.

  • @slopium what game?

  • @slopium This was on a game?

  • @hillw59

    yes NCAA Football 2006

  • @slopium ncaa 06 is amazing and has the best soundtrack of any game ever get out of here.

  • @slopium dude if it was not for the game i would not have known about the song so i am glad you can decide who is lame or not lame, thank you self appointed god.

  • I knew Jawbreaker before NCAA 06 came out, but this song was on repeat in that game along with More Than Toast and Train in Vain.

  • .....awesome song....never get tired of it.....

  • This song is amazing.

  • NCAA FB 06!!!!!!

  • OMG I <3 That Game :)

  • haha im a fan of both but do remember it more from the game lol that was a good one cheers!
