I think the comment that the Israelis use the Holocaust to dominate the Palestinians is a bit unfair. Most Israelis want a 2-state solution, and the Holocaust plays no role in that. It is also not clear that the Arabs are only fighting for independence, when "independence" often means the destruction of Israel.

The narrator could just as easily said that Arab governments use Israel as a scapegoat to deflect Arab attention from their own miserable regimes.

What it was a reference to was the movie Defamation, and I'm not a denialist nor a revisionit nor even an anti-semite... the crazy Palestinians was about the suicide paradise themed music videos and such. I know there's lots of good people on both sides, but problems are the result of the extremists (the Settlers / IDF morons and those who shoot rockets from Palestine into residential areas )

I think that the statement should have been more rigorous as now people are making their own intepretation of what it means, not what it meant. @ArkanArkAngel Perhaps the wording was not as rigorous as it should have been in the program. One should study how the holocaust has influenced the state of Israel (not an easy existence). I'm not a Holocaust denialist, I have been to Auswisch, and I do agree that it was one of most horrible things in the history of humanity. Studying Sinchan there really was a massacre there involving both sides... I do see similarities in the usage of the massacre (of course the NK's are not innocent at all)

The Korean war is a war that has gotten little attention, and you should read about the accounts of Sinchan, not a clear cut event I would say.

@supreme475 You did not get the point. The holocaust is used in every aspect of Israeli life to justify their policies of expansion into the Palestine territories. The Palestinian children's programs depicting suicide as a good patriotic way to influence politics is not any better. You should read Israel's Holocaust and the Politics of Nationhood, Cambridge University Press. This view is taken by many secularist Jewish authors. It's not denial of the Holocaust, but a critique of its uses...

OMG, look at all the rust and disrepair! Maybe all those people being used for Kim Jong Il's Human Jumbotron displays could be better used to paint and do repairs on everything.
