@muhhuh2 Thanks. Take all of the electronics out of the equation and nothing surpasses witnessing a live performance. However, if you record the instrument then the difference between real and electronic narrows considerably.

Paul Wells!!

You are a 'well' of talent!! Damn incredible spot on version of this song.!! Played it live in 1990 to over 3,000 people at a concert on the east coast with an eight piece band. Yet, you made it 'big' just with a simple piano. Beautiful. I will be learning this arrangement along with 5 other songs you have done. Still love to hear you do Sailing by Christopher Cross, no one on You tube can, but you could Paul. Classic piece right up your alley.

@bherber Thank you. I'm performing here on YouTube and am very happy with the steadily growing audience my videos are getting. I did have a good go at getting H&L's attention in the earlier part of last year. I'm working with Seolta publishing now and a lot has been done in just a few months.

Have you ever covered any Floyd Cramer songs? He was a great influence on many players through the decades. Also one who was inducted into the Country Music Hall of Fame the same year he was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame. A very elite group. His sound on the keys was instantly recognizable. Most keyboard players are largely ignored but every once in a while somebody comes along and refuses to be ignored. That was Mr. Floyd Cramer. You remind me of him!

Not quite sure how it fits to the lyrics you posted, though - singing along to it I get the second verse coming in at 1:35 (with what would be an epic piano accompaniment), but it gets cut short - did you jump straight from the first chorus to the break?

@countertony I tend to just play what sounds about right on the piano without reference to the words. It would be longer and have much repetition. I paste the words mainly as search engine fodder.
