@Rosinira98 You should hear their version of " Raglan road ". I actuallly prefer it to Luke's original, believe it or not it is that good. Sincerely. It's on the " With all due respect- the Irish sessions " cd. Simply brilliant version of a simply brillinat song.
Always great but Red is still my favorite. First saw them at the Zepher Club in Salt Lake City Utah and have been a tremendous fan since. In Fact next to Jennifer Grimm there music is what I listen to most. Hope every one gets a chance to enjoy this energy filled, positive, genre of true talent!*!
I remember seeing these guys regularly at FairCity Pub on Wilshire in Santa Monica back in the mid-90s. I think Keith was part-owner of the pub? What unbefreakinlievable rockers they were. Brought the house down every Friday night. Go Dubs!
Thats where I fitst saw them too! Then again at the Race track in Arcadia for the Irish fair. I hope they never retire. :) Remember the blond female fiddle player? She /rocked/. Wonder what happened to her..
well they're allright..the combination of old and new instruments sounds fine but me as an old headed lad i cant listen to tis..i need my old dubliners!!
Whatever whack job. The Dubs, Young Dubliners,. if it makes YOU feel better. I've met them, spoken with them and I doubt that they are insulted. Go sing a song for yourself.
right well mate these guys are like 30 yrs old the real dubs (the Dubliners not the young ones...) are like 50 ... if you cant see that difrence your blind ....
Lovely was with the band when I first saw them play the Black Pearl in Park City way back around 94 or so. The next time I saw them Chas was on fiddle...then Mark replaced him...then Chas came back. My understanding is that Lovely wasn't too into the touring and being a full-time band member. Then Chas left to front his own band (Judy, Judy, Judy) then Mark left to write screenplays and Chas came back.
One of our favorite bands...We see them every year, usually at one of the local "Concerts in the Parks" out here in Santa Clarita or Woodland Hills. Always a great show!
@Ingraham0802 that's funny my uncles is the lead singer Keith
