  • Nice guitar, good job!

    how does the title called?

  • @beachnut82

    Thanks!

The is called " China Town'

  • The fisheye lense made me think the guitar's neck was super super warped haha

  • Where can I get one of these?

  • Welcome man! I have a 63 Silvertone with the shorter neck that sounds great but I would like a longer neck version, love the tone on yours.

  • Man this sounds like Cliff Gallup!

  • Wow!

    Thanks!

That's always nice to hear :)

It is a neat little axe! :)

  • Love the song, love the guitar, love the sound.

I've got 3 danelectro's myself and 1 danelectro baritone witch really disappointed me.

  • Great guitar, the pickups are wonderful.Red dog music in Scotland has them for £99.99.I play Jazz and Rock n Roll on it and it just sings.

  • yeah i ordered one from them i live in cornwall they delivered the day after i ordered it havent tried it out because its my birthday tomorrow so i will then cant wait looks and sounds like a really nice guitar.

    sam

  • saw modest mouse live and one of the guitarists used one of these, made me want to get one instantly

  • Would this guitar be nice for punk?

  • this guitar is good for anything

the only thing i DONT like about mine is that it only has 19 frets, unless you buy the baritone version which has 21(check me on that.) But the baritone only comes in one color, and that awesome blue color was more valuable than 2 more frets for me.

  • these guitars are so cheap i can't believe it, i have another danelectro than this one, a fender jaguar from the late 70's and a new japanese telecaster, and the first one i always automaticly pick is the danny, i just love 'em.

  • hellz ya, for most stuff, the lipsticks are nice and punchy through a pretty hot amp. not good for hardcore or streetcore, but great ska/punk, powerpop, west coast sound

  • I've heard punk bands play these and they're pretty good for that.

  • it wouldnt work for metal/hard rock very well, but i think punk would work nicely :)

  • Geoff, nice playing and great tone. How do you compare the sound of the Dano you are playing and the DC-3 they made in the late '90s early 2000s? Thanks.

  • this is on my wishing list :p

  • very nice! love atkins vibe

  • Danelectro 63's are my favorite

  • great vid along with all your others!

  • is your guitar plugged on a PEDAL if yes , what kind is it? thanks!!

  • delay or echo pedal

  • love ur style

  • so beautiful!!!!!!!!!!

  • good for a plywood guitar. literally.

  • thats what musicans freind says "Wood type: Plywood"

  • The danos are plywood sandwiched between two pieces of hardwood. It makes them very light and gives them that wierd sound.

  • @MockStoneLLC Hardwood, not plywood. There's a difference.

  • that is awesome!

  • Absolutly gorgeous bro,

    sound, looks, price.

Everything about this guitar is just fantastic.

  • hey man, I live the aqua dano. How much is one of these? arent they fairly cheap?

  • $250

  • kickass man

  • At guitar center, you can probably talk 'em down to 200 or something.

  • Thanks! :)

  • Fantastic sound

  • That's a beauty - love that great color, shape, and tone. But of course, Geoff can make ANY guitar sound like a million bucks.
