  • ESTOY ESCUCHANDO ESTO EN EL 2012 .. TENGO 15 AÑOS Y ESTOY ORGULLOSA

  • I can´t critize A-ha for cover this song, but I think this version here is far far better!

  • I need much money for my life, but I need this music to turn back to save our worl nowadays.

  • Impossible to describe how much I love this video. :-)

  • I always thought Aha wrote this.

  • i think this is great... a-ha's version is equaly as good but in difrent way

  • Carol King knows how to write a tune, man. Any song that can be carried by the Everly Bros. and a-Ha has gotta be solid.

  • What show is this n where

  • A-ha can't singing, and they ruined that beautiful song, tg youtube save Everly Brothers :)

  • @conversary apparently the Everly Brothers did not think that. From wiki ...In 1990, the Norwegian pop band A-ha covered the song. Following its success, A-ha became closer to the Everly Brothers, who had originally recorded the song. The band members were presented a set of guitars by the Everly Brothers that A-ha continues to use.

  • God am i happy my dad letted me listen to this tunes when i was a kid. 19 now and still loving it :)

  • Another beautiful song I thought was gone forever thank you youtube brings back so many lovely memories xx

  • good video loved them when I was much younger

  • Ha ha! one day I had to pee in a plastic bag! but this is easy for men not for us! and more difficult if you are on a bus... and more if you companion is a man:

  • Thumbs up if you pee inside the bowl instead of straight into the water as to avoid making noise.

  • Love the 'Gregorian' version much better. This is alright...

  • Why the fuck would you dislike this

  • What a damn good number.

  • Essa música é sensacional, foi trilha sonora de uma propaganda de um chocolate branco, que surpresa!

  • love it x

  • I seriously -3 this song.

  • I was at this concert it was great you can see Albert Lee on guitar fantastic harmony

  • okey

  • It's so brilliant to see that here we are in 2011 and still people are enjoying the music of Don and Phil. I was at school in 1960 and a friend played me Cathy's Clown. It was the first 45 I ever bought. Still got it!

  • A shame that there not around today would love to go and see them at a gig thee were true raw talent

  • I just discover this is the original !!!! both are great versions, this is one of the few covers i cannot say wich one is better, both have great voices

  • Who sang the song first, A-HA or The Everly Brothers?

  • @hannasaidwhat The Everly Brothers recorded this in 1962, and since A-ha was formed in 1982, I'd say Everly Brothers definitely sang it first.

  • none like them........

  • These guys ripped off A-ha.

  • @antdigger Who the fuck is A-ha/

  • @music1831 yeah who is A-ha? havent heard of that. im 19 and i do love old songs better than new ones.

    new ones lacks feelings.

  • @vattereyha i really don't care how old you are... listening to rock or good music just to claim 'look, i'm young and i love old stuff' is just stupid...

  • @music1831 a great band wich sadly you are missing..

  • @music1831 --- A-ha is a person who laughs with just a single sound "ha"... that's all :)

  • The Harmony they use is called a Pyramid of Thirds.

  • the best harmonisers i have ever heard.

    they top the lot.

  • snik

  • Still good!

  • still wonderful .. saw them and met them in the '80's .. played at Resorts with Johnny Mathis .. very down to earth folks ..

  • Brilliant voices takes me back to my childhood.Great music thanks

  • Ahhhhhh ...The Everly's all grown up and better than ever! No one has ever harmonized better than Don and Phil.

  • @LeeLeeDe1 hang on... we (my band) will. give us 5 years, maybe 6.

  • This is from the 1983 reunion concert at Albert Hall, London. The entire concert is incredible. Do a YT search for 'everly brothers reunion concert' to hear some great stuff. Trivia - Tom Petty flew all the way from LA to London to be at this concert, said he would do it all over again.

  • I feel a closer connection to the Everly Brothers in the "later" years as their voices just become richer and better with time.

  • i love listening to this song :)

  • great talent everly brothers!

  • An amazing classic....

  • a-ha who?

  • I'll never let you see The way my broken heart is hurting me I've got my pride and I know how to hide All my sorrow and pain I'll do my crying in the rain. If I wait for cloudy skies You won't know the rain from tears in my eyes You'll never know that I still love you so Though the heartaches remain I'll do my cryin' in the rain Rain drops falling from heaven Could never wash away my misery But since we're not together I look for stormy weather To hide my tears I hope you'll never see
  • some day, when my crying is done... i am gonna wear a smile and walk in the sun! if you love this line thumbs up please =)

  • Gammel kjærlighet ruster ikke

  • I still love you so......

  • When was this recorded?

  • @kocsogarc About 25 years ago, during a comeback tour. I saw the concert when they played in the U.S. Fantastic! And they still had their voices, many years after their heyday!

  • I love the Everly Brothers.

  • I am SOO glad this song turned out to be older than i had thought (i heard the A-HA version first) The sixties rock!

  • Everly Brothers -I don't know them ...but when i heard the music I know that they Legend . thanks for upload

  • Thumbs up if you heard the A-ha version first.

  • @jonkrons I heard the A-ha version way later after this one :-)

  • @jonkrons Holycrap! A-ha did a cover of this? Must watch it nao!

  • I grew up listening and enjoying all of the Everly Brothers songs. They haven't diminished one bit, though my old cassette of their greatest hits has !!!! Played it adnauseum, until it wore-out !!! Lucky for me, I have my parents original vinyl 45's to put onto a CD, so I can cruise the streets in Summer with the sounds of the Everlys' filling the air !!!

  • love never dies, thanks for the geat Everly Bros, Janette

  • total music

  • These guys are the best. They have been my favorite since high school. I graduated in 1967. I know each one of their songs by heart. The songs are as beautiful today as they were in the 50's and 60's. They Everly Brothers are nothing short of classic.

  • O apaixonado é alguem torturado e atormentado, assim como também tortura e ao mesmo tempo é seu próprio carrasco. É alguem que sofre 4 vezes ao mesmo tempo.

    BUT, WHITESNAKE ROCKS!

  • james taylor and carole king do a lovely cover of this

  • 57 people accidently pressed the wrong button, they must be getting old

  • @Spinifexman

Or they are to young to know good music

  • Hi Z! I was born in 1950 and was 13 when JFK got whacked by the crowd you are talking about. You can find a speech on YouTube where President Eisenhower warned this nation about this sinister group of anti-American criminals. This crowd sponsored the Great Rip Off of 2008 and if I had a way of doing it, I's kill 'em all and George Soros would be the first to go. To the other poster . . . it was LBJ that escalated the war. Kennedy was cool.

  • @fortunate1950 Yes JFK was stilll an American who cared.

  • Lovely i regret i didnt hear it before.

  • Great singers. =) I first heard this song with A Ha.

  • I was in love with Kennedy and Camelot but he sadly he was a philanderer just like Clinton. That tarnishes his image for me.

  • How did an Everly Brothers spot turn into a soapbox? I saw these guys at a music festival in the 60's along with Frank Zappa, Big Brother, Country Joe and a lot of others. The Everly's performed a super version of "Lucille," pounding on those old guitars, probably Gibson's, that IMHO was the hit of the day (Sorry Janis) but only received a smattering of applause. They were one of my favorite groups in the 40's and 60's, and remain so.

  • i was reminded of my oldest sister who died of breast cancer she loved to play their song

  • The America that we grew up in is gone, thanks to Obama!

  • Someday when my crying's done

I'm gonna wear a smile and walk in the sun

    I may be a fool

But till then, darling, you'll never see me complain

  • why there is always some kind of flame war which contians some political/religion issues on videos like this? ppl enjoy beautiful song adn relax we have enough this bullshit everyday....

  • @Rastaziom all too true. thank you for that important commnt and have a great evening further...

  • @Rastaziom because YT is owned by our dear leader Google.

  • @Rastaziom

well said indeed. There doesn't seem to be any video on YouTube, which isn't followed by comments from people making viscous, and nasty comments to each other. What a state we are in, especially young people. Why can't we just listen to the amazing music offered for free on here and not spew out such hatred and anger

  • i want to hear this in Mafia 2!!!

  • you two guys are babies, cmon that was the past, wars are now ended, we have the U.N. i too had problems with the americans because they tried to conquer us and i read they were in lots of wars. when i see other americans i sometimes get angery but i remember that it was the past. i can choose to be friends with them or to stay angry at them.

  • JFK, good and honest? BAAAHAHAHAHAHA.....the guy who was elected by a margin consisting of dead people in Chicago? Whose family wealth was built through bootlegging? Yeah, he was a real straight shooter.

  • @lyeball You forgot to mention how he ran around with other women and cheated on Jackie

  • This song...It has helped me so much. Beautiful lyrics.

  • @CALLOFCOMEDY: Yes...now aged 74 and 72...

  • PRESIDENT KENNEDY WAS OWNED BY THE MOB AND WAS EXECUTED BY THE MOB

  • their chunky. but their voices are still beautiful.

  • sounds like conspiracy...

  • Phil Everly explained:

"Don and I are infamous for our split, but we're closer than most brothers.

Harmony singing requires that you enlarge yourself, not use any kind of suppression.

    Harmony is the ultimate love."...

    " Step it up and go " ; < ) Erik / Ricky T. @ Florida

  • Beautiful song, but the performance is better by a-ha

  • I like it much better by A-Ha...

  • This song touches my heart

  • JFK was the best no matter what anyone thinks.. He was the last of the good and honest ones..God Bless Him.. He had NO ties to the IRA.. Only an idiot would think that..I'm an American and a Vietnam Vet.. I fought so you could say what you want... Don't forget that.. Without us you might be speaking German, Jap or even Russian.

  • @MrHardtohold I'm English and I think JFK was one of the best US Presidents of all time and he was liked and loved by many in the UK and around the world.I can only speak for my family but we thank you all for fighting with us but I can tell you for sure that the only language we would have been speaking if you had not been on our side would have been English or nothing ,my family would have all died fighting to the last man, woman and child and I would not be here so thats a double THANK YOU.

  • @MrHardtohold or MEXICAN

  • @MrHardtohold go to Ireland and ask them! they seem to believe he supported them! hes face is still on display all over the shop! and u forget we found your country for you and gave you a language to butcher! oh and joining the war halfway through because you got bombed by the japs....thanks for that! bit sooner would have been nice! and finally,i dont listen to someone who comes from a country that let georg w bush run it for 8 years wtf, really!!! whats the matter with you people?

  • @waynusp1664 So... you expect anyone to listen to you? You come from a country that still maintains a "Royal" (hahahaha!) "family..." And, you seem to be doing a right proper job of butchering the language without any help from your colonies. You did not "find" the countries you colonized. And you did not "give" your colonies anything but grief. That is why they "gave" you the boot, fool.

  • @bunkhabit i notice you ignored the bits about japan and george bush, and ok it was the spanish who traveled to the americas first! and your only jealous of the fact we have over two thousand years of history and culture, writers, scholors, kings queens, what have you got?

  • @waynusp1664 Bonehead. "We" have a combination of ALL cultures and histories from all over the world here. Duh...

  • @waynusp1664 Look you Horsed teeth brit it was a different story when The Germans bombed your ass back to the stone age. . You never found or gave us anything guess you forgot we kicked your ass off this land of ours You are nothing but a whining ass. with you outdated Queen Talk about languages you can't speak off the way you people talk with tellies an lorries you dumb bastards. needs us not the other way around so put on your powdered wigs and go bugger each other you poofs

  • @MrHardtohold

with your logic then without the british you would be speaking italian (because of columbus)

    or indian

  • I like the song for what it is, politics shouldnt come into it

  • I love it <3

  • i came from coldplay, to scary deepsea creatures and then to this.... wtf?

  • @1988peaceful

Yes it most certainly is the legendary Albert Lee, who was musical director on the show. This is from the reunion tour performance at the Royal Albert Hall September 23, 1983, I saw it in Glasgow, Scotland.

  • God Bless JFK, the last true american patriot president to lay down his life for the good old US of A... RIP

  • Yes, JFK was a great president and maybe one of the last who believed he could change the world for the good of all the people, not just the people of the USA but all the people. Some of which still believe "Ask not what your country can do for you but what you can do for your country." God Bless America and God bless all the Kennedy's.

  • grr, sorry to break ya bubble but the kennedys were rubbing shoulders with the wrong people! plus ol johnboy supported the IRA who loved nothing more than blowing up innocent women and kids! whatever your view on the england/ireland debate thats not the way to sort out problems!
