I absolutely loved your video and your artwork. Amazing! But, I was also very intrigued with the piano music you used. Can you tell me the name of the piece? It sounds like something I would enjoy learning to play.
Hello, I am happy to answer that..when I first started making abstracts, I had no idea what to name them. Then I thought that because I play The Beatles music while I paint, it seemed perfectly logical to name the bright coloured piece with the circle in the center, "Twist and Shout", So I did a lot of checking and found that no one owns the copyright to song titles, not even Paul MaCartney or Elton John, they are free and clear. Hope this helps, Debra.
I am just curious whether you had to get permission to use the song titles - I have been considering a series of works based upon the lyrics of songs and have wondered about copyright issues.
Hello Wendy, there are a few things I am working on.. and I have some shows coming up, so I will try and get more on very soon.. Thank you for your comments.
Thank you for your kind words. I am working on getting a few more, and at some point will have a step by step slide show, with a finished piece. I hope you keep watching or you might like to subscribe. Take care, Bye for now, Debra.
