Thanks for this top 10 list, it was a delight. Can't get enough of Han & Leia. I know I'll probably sound like a little girl saying this but I wish Lucas had chosen the original ending which included the wedding.

I also love the contrast between this relationship and the whole Padme-Anakin plot. Han and Leia's romance comes across so much more genuine and natural while Padme and Anakin's love always looked pretty forced and superficial to me.

@summrbelle I disagree. I like both their romances. Anakin and Padmé's romance is doomed from the start, but I like that they get to love each other very intensely before the tragic conclusion. Han and Leia are a happy, healthy couple and provide the happy ending that Anakin and Padmé never had and never could have. I like that contrast.

These are by far the best moments of the series. I'm glad Lucas never went with his original choice to have Leia fall for Luke. Han and Leia have the perfect chemistry and are an incredible couple. Nothing compares for me in terms of on-screen romance like #9, #5, #4, #2 and #1.

I can honestly say that out of all that I've seen, gay, lesbian, straight, and otherwise, Han/Leia is my all-time favorite romantic pairing. The fact that some dirty smuggler with an apartment on one of the most decrepit planets in the galaxy (Nar Shaddaa) was able to get the princess of one of the most stuck-up cultures in the galaxy to fall in love with him is a truly fine tribute to manhood and should serve as an inspiration to men everywhere.
