Ovechkin wasn't even in the top 30, which makes him the biggest choker in the history of hockey. And Crosby did all the work on the golden goal except the pass. He carried the puck into the USA end, fought for it in the corner and then yelled for the pass. And made a beautiful shot between Miller's pads. Not bad

Ovie didn't look too good on wednesday night. Now before you start freaking out, I'm a fan of both players. Everything you bring up about stats is true for the time being, but everytime the two play against each other in the big games Crosby seems to come out on top. In the world juniors Crosby won, in the Stanley Cup playoffs Crosby won and on Wednesday night Crosby won. You can't deny it, Crosby is just a winner and Ovie isn't for the time being.

For example last year during the playoffs which Crosby's team came out on top of, Ovie took out Gonchar in a play that would have gotten anyone else in the NHL an easy suspension. The NHL loves him for no good reason. To sum it up: he plays cheap and can't walk the walk when his team needs him to. Caps maybe #1 in the East right now but the Penguins, Devils, and Sabres will all do better in the playoffs.

a.) The amount of shots don't matter; it's HOW you land them (Richards did land more shots).
b.) Richards did land those shots when Ovechkin fell down you fanboy.
c.) This fight was not even close to being a draw.
Watch very closely when Ovechkin and Richards first become visible and you can see (if you have a quick eye and you're not retarded) Richards right arm going up and down. Bad angle, but Richards threw him like 6 uppercuts in 2 seconds. That's why Ovechkin got whooped after.

They are made up of 4 lines that can score. As for the D, they have enough to get by, with Erskine, Jurcina, and others, and for Varly, I believe, 1 on 1, he would outlast Fleury in a heartbeat.
