  • rowland s FUCKING howard

  • I'm not new to Birthday Party but for some reason I had forgotten about this song many years back. And lately I've been playing this song over and over and over again. I just can't seem to get enough of it. I pull this song up and just keep the youtube tab in the background while I go about my business online, returning here just to hit repeat!

  • The Birthday Party were an incredible band... It's too bad kids nowadays only know Nick Cave for "Murder Ballads"

  • @Skarmouchos Don't despair, friend-- I'm 44 and have followed Nick Cave since the early '80s, but I know lots of kids who know about the Birthday Party AND the early Bad Seeds. Good taste in music is alive and well!

  • Surprise Surprise! A little known band from Greece was doing exactly what the Birthday Party were doing at the same time. Unfortunately I no longer see the friend who gave me a copy of the tape. And I lost the only copy I had.

  • They were actually called Yell-O-Yell. They were active between 1982 and 1986They released Hello Hell in 1984. Very good band.
