Heidi Grant Murphy/Aureole - Where Do You Sleep?

This is great! I first saw Heidi Grant-Murphy in 1989 in the Wolf Trap Opera's Young Artists program. She had roles Purcell's Dido and Aeneas - Denyce Graves was Dido - and in Figaro, in the production that Dawn Upshaw returned as the star and sang and acted Susanna while 6 months pregnant with her now 19 year old daughter.(I met Dawn after that performance.) One question - are the children in this clip her own children? I believe she and Kevin Murphy have 4 children.Thanks for the posting.

Yes, Heidi is an extraordinary talent.

No they are not Heidi's kids. Except for the "lead" kid, the others are children of the musicians and friends

ah, i can't understand how this is supposed to be relaxing and sleep inducing. it makes me cringe when she gets all up in those high notes, especially when she sings about bluebirds - agh!

I really dont like her singing. She was in Clemenza in the met, and I found she didnt sing nor act well
