Very true statement, but u can always simply say 'NO' to their approach. However, it doesn't change the fact that the rate, wether walk-in or booked, is far better for the standard of service and facilities than u could get at same * hotels elsewhere in Bangkok. I'm no rep in disguise - many people like me have a condo in the city yet still stay at Tai Pan and other hotels (some are decent, some are dives). Didn't u go Thailand 2 CHILL tw25rw :-) Government gives people more hassle in UK
Hi Smozguy! Yep, It's an old 'poor quality' video and the hotel next door (which I've stayed in several times) was completed around the time that you say. However, as a member of the Tai Pan Vacation Club felt inclined to capture a view from that particular room before it could no longer be seen. Peace :-)

That hotel is behind the timeshare touts that are all over Bangkok. I wouldn't stay there.
