  • Hello Jamessir100 ! the chord you play at 0:19 and 0:56 is not F7b9b13 , it is Fb9/13 as can be seen (and heard) because your pinky is on the tenth fret. At 0:14 and 0:51 you play a Fj7 or Dm9 chord (as you like it ) not Dm7.

but i like the piece and how it sounds on your guitar anyway, thank you Emeraldo !

  • where can i get the tabs please!!! every-time i click in the link of your website it sends me back to youtube. I'll buy them if you want.

  • you aren't including the inversion of the chord on purpose? i hope...

  • What guitar is that? Sounds perfect.

  • @Carthsgtr

Hi, it´s an Ibanez George Benson GB 10 JS played directly into an audio interface. The sound is mainly influenced by using a nice multiband compressor plugin.

  • man i didnt even know chord names could be so damn long

  • thanks man, great job

  • Hey jamessir100. Where are the tabs for this arragement?????????

    -Nice playing man, Thank you.

  • Great post. Does anyone know what shape he's using when he plays Cm7/11-Fb9b13? (Tabs or chord chart)

  • @Dford16 Sure. D8 G8 B8 -> E10 -> D7 G8 B8 E10

  • There's no tabs at play-jazz.de...dont even bother visiting that site.

  • @jonny3692

I stand corrected, you can get them there.

If you pay what they charge you...

I wonder if they are forwarding any money to the owner of the copyright...

  • Very nice music . I am going to the site indicated, but I did not find the tab for this piece. How to get it please ?J.C.

  • Very funny...I worked one week on the leed sheet from my real book to figure out a way that offers me the possibility to combine melody and chords. The day when I finished my arrangement I searched on youtube for another version of blue in green that combines melody and chord as well. And yours is so much better than mine.

At the beginning of your video you refer to your homepage with tabs for that arr., but unfortunately I couldn't find the tabs. How do I find them? TheJamToHeaven

  • deeply does it !

  • jazz chords are so beautiful.... makes me sad each time i heard one of those, and i love it

  • Wow. What key is this in?

  • thank Kenny Barrell it s great

  • Repeating the melody note twice is enough to drive me insane.Just play as written

  • thank u.

  • great

  • and the intro is (four beats each) g-7,a7#9,d-7(then the next two chords have two beats each) c-7, f7(flat9) and the end is (four beats each) d-7,g-7,a7#9,d-6/9 (and for you who dont know, a hyphin means minor. I got this straight out of the real book)

  • Brilliant- I can hear the record playing (in my head) as you play the melody and harmonic changes- you also have the 'smoky' brooding feel down perfect!!

  • Hey, thanks for playing it clearly. I could hear the distinct quality of every chord. Well done.

  • very relaxing :)

  • While I love all the compositions on All Blues -- for some reason this song seems to capture the essence of the album. Maybe Davis knew that Evans would script something direct from the soul.

  • Beautiful.

  • Haha, you have a Freak Kitchen T-shirt! Go IA ;) Great lessons, really like em.

    Best, Sandemose

  • Very nice, could I get the chords on sheet?

  • i love Kenny's sound, absolutely love this song. Cheers

  • Great!!!
