  • @1Fable2Boy You're converting your models right? Gotta use sculptymaker to convert you zbrush models into png images that SL can read, then you upload those & your textues.

  • @hazonku thanks i got it , but it stucks when i try to convert the OBJ to texture map ,i i also failed to do it on maya with sculpt.mel script , it works with simple object but when i try to make a BMP texture map from a head sculpture it gives a black one not rainbow colored , if you know why it happens i would appreciate any help .

  • @GamingAcid Yeah I've had that problem too. You using 3.1 or 3.5r? Seems to work better on Zbrush 3.1. Also make sure you draw your shape, initialize it to be 32x32 (SL standard for sculpt maps) click edit & then click make polymesh. Then you can model away. Also subdivision is ok as long as you bring the mesh back down to your initial 32x32 before exporting.

  • @medievalsolii Glad to help. I'm surprised at the lack of info regarding sculpty maker & use of Zbrush for SL. It's crazy? I might hit up Vlad & ask if I can't rip his tutorials & post 'em on youtube. He didn't bother with youtube because of the time restrictions but I guess I could piece them out & upload as playlists.

  • @hazonku Bet he'd appreciate that. Also, I TOTALLY know what you mean. I was surprised too. Still am. Think I might do my own tutorials on youtube as well. It's been quite a while now since sculpty maker & the zsculpt plugin have come out & STILL no one is making tutorials on youtube. WTF is up with that? Zbrush has become the standard for the game & movie industries so why is no one posting tutorials for SL? I guess I'll have to get on that!
