I liked Beck until I read one of his early biographies and alot of information was left out to hide the fact that he was born into the music business and Scientology. He had a foot in the door before he ripped off his first musical style.

He's not attempting to sing like George Jones, He's paying tribute to him as an influence. He's turning a younger audience on to George Jones's music. He loves artist like Dylan, The Possum, and Daniel Johnston. Artists that can tell a story or put you in a different place through song.
