Star Trek writers could never craft a scene like when Ivanova mourns Marcus. Tasha dies and they move on by the next episode and all future mentions are passionless "oh well she died". Jadzia dies, Worf does a little howl thing and goes to blow up a sun with Bashir and Quark in a later episode however there is no real emotional catharsis. Sisko's response to her death was even more lackluster given that they had such a long friendship.

I loved the 'Endgame' episode with Marcus giving his life for Ivanova. Just wish I could find it on youtube.

It was really sad that Claudia left B5 and they replaced her with this Ivanonva-wannabe Lochley in the 5th season.

A great loss, Ivanova was always my favorite character.
