If you ever run into this situation again just towel dry it and set it somewhere warm they have a low body temp to begin with and chill easily. That is the size that they go out on their own , most don't make it to 1 year, you gave this one a second chance.
Don't worry about bites at that age ,about like a kitten and even if it did, rabies is not a concern with Opossum.Also the bacteria count in their mouth is very low.They are pretty clean critters. THANKS AGAIN !!!
