I think Ross played it quite well. To turn down the chance of 'playing' with SW would be the arrogant thing to do, so he played the fool, but not overly so as to be disrespectful. If you watch the interview you can see the absolute respect he has for Stevie..

Too bad Jonathan decided to play drums, but admit it, given the chance to play on stage with a true legend, you would too. I bet JR considers that one of the highlights of his career. In his mid-60's Stevie is still cooler than, well, anyone I can think of...
