@ROBTUCSON what is the clean volume like do u think it would be enough for small gigs? Ive heard the overdrive live first hand but not the cleaner tones and im assuming your gona loose a lot of volume.
@awesomeportal Hey...so did you like the TT or....how predominant are the mids in these amps...I'm thinking of getting one but would like to be able to adjust the tones more
@stevoe1000 I've seen a guy in a music store use an eq pedal to great effect with a Thunderverb but I think it worked so well because it was in the effects loop =L
I've been thinking the same, leaning towards the tiny terror - it seems a bit more "real" valve sound. Did you decide yet? Anyone out there tried both and got any comments?
yeam ive decided to get a tiny terror man...im currently saving up as a type...there both great amps but its a matter of prefrence...just wish it had bass midddle treble
This amp has a great tone I would check out the new two channel that orange is putting out and get the head and a 4x12 cab. You could use this live but with drums I would mic it
Thats a good idea, but if you're playing bars of varying sizes, they already mic all cabs typically for your onstage monitors and in the audience monitors too. But if you're planning on playing on bigger venues outside of a small bar, then get the cab. And great vid! 5/5
The other guitarist in my band uses one. Easily can compete with the drums. But for anything larger than a small venue i think micing it up would be essential.
Hey I'm thinking about purchasing the half stack, orange tiny terror. Do you think the 1x12 cab would be enough for a band, or mby shuld I go with the 4x12? Is this amp good for like Van Halen, Judas Priest, Iron Maiden or am I ganna need to get a boost pedal? TTHANKS
Hey how are you doing this a sweet amp I do miss the tone I ended up with a Marshall dsl 50 with a orange 2x12 cab nice put the orange tone is better. The marshall does have some perks like effects loop and multi channel. Good to hear you are enjoying the amp and rock on.
I run an analog delay in the front of my Marshall JCM800, and it works great. I was just wondering if you tryed running the delay through the front of this amp? I play in a christian praise group and I'm looking a small combo to avoid dragging the half-stacks around, would you recommend this?
When amp reached higher levels of gain adding delay to front end of amp was not a tone I could use. Great amp for plug and play but no effects loop. If the tone you get from your 800 with delay works than maybe the tiny terror would work for you. I use the delay for my leads with lots of gain not a usable tone for leads. lower level works ok. Good luck.
Sorry i sold this amp and picked up a marshall loved the tone from this amp but I like delay for my leads and this amp does not have a effects loop. This amp will give you a great chrunch and you can get a singing lead tone I just needed the delay in a effects loop. Local tech said would cost me about 2-3 hundred bucks to add loop so found good deal on a dsl 50 with a orange cab.
Yeah I loved the tone of this amp but it had no effects loop and that is a must for me if this amp had an effects loop I would never have sold it. I have a Marshall JCM dsl 50 with a orange 2x12 now and it is pretty sweet but I still miss the tone of this little monster.
Depends on what you will be using it for combo great plug and play. Head would leave you open differnt cabs. I would like to hear this with a 2x12 or 4x12 orange cab.
You can get all types of great tones out of this amp. The guy that said it sucked must have a different take on what he likes for clean. Try one loved the amp just did not have effects loop.
Sorry for the sloppy playing but have you played this amp? I have had many over the years and to say you cant get the Srv or Hendrix tone is way off. since I made the video, I got a Holy grail and can get great tones. I would try one if you can But if you are use to line6 spider responce and tone this is way different.
If you want to play any hendrix/srv/clapton or anything with a cleaner sound this amp sucks.. it has absolutley no decent clean sounds.. and starts especially sound like crap through it as this one just did.
Really nice demo - But your country skills really suck xD

Why does it say 30 W on the speakers (on the back) if the outputs are 7 W and 15 W?
caioguns 1 year ago
@caioguns So the Amp doesn't overload the speakers. It doesn't really sound good if the speakers are in over their head and can be damaging too.
lordieuan777 1 year ago
@caioguns Because that's the wattage that the speakers can handle. That's kind of obvious...

A ferocious little amp! You can't get that with a od or distortion pedal thats pure valve madness!

can you play slipknot with this amp if you have a metal-zone/core pedal

definetly, you should get a better distortion pedal than a BOSS though.
