The 08 zx10r is deff as mad as the r1. It does the fastest 0-180 m.p.h. out of the litre bikes. That deff says somethin.

I have a zx6 in that colour, definetly the best colour Kawasaki have done for years even if it does sound gay (pearl wildfire orange)!

Next bike will be an R1 Im afraid unless the ZX10 is as mad as the R1.

Advice on this please as I have never ridden either, just my sreaming 600.

Honestly, all the 1000's are pretty good. It just depends on which one feels right for you.

The Ninja will put a smile on your face though.

@fordba03 hondas have the best low end power so you can roll on from low rpm, gixxers have best midrange for some strong pulling all the way through the range, yamahas are not always the most powerful, and kawasakis are always the most high end powerful but not a lot of low end power

@CHOPERUS23 I'm a big fan of the R1's but stay away from the 2010. As beautiful as they are...they're underpowered but quite a bit. Still better than a K8 or K7 GSXR1000 but rather underpowered. Kawasaki's have always been ravaging powerful bikes.

There is only 1 reason, EVERYONE changes their exhaust doesint matter if its fugly or not and its usually the first thing to go too.Dealers make HUGE profits on aftermarket parts, making a deal with the manufactures.like with the 09 zx6, they had a promotion right from kawi you could pick between aftermarket crappy shocks, wheels, or akra evo...the wheels and shocks were never meant to be chosen, its all marketing

the OEM many times will look at function before looks

the way many of the liters of today (1000cc's) perform many of the "usual" designs wont work.
