That piece he played on the CPX 900... that sounds so gorgeous, and so familiar; I think my teacher played that, or something very similar.

I've been thinking about getting one of these models lately, and it definitely sounds worth it: his playing comes through clearly and with such an amazing, warm tone. :D

yes you can get a cpx and apx 12 string but not a 900 or 500

I bought the Apx500 and it is the best guitar that I have ever played.

AMAZING acoustics and the stings that come with it are superb.

If you are looking at buying one of these, def spend less and get the Apx.

some kind of accoustics are not comfortable for the long-lasting tabs by yamaha. but these series seem to be more comfortable than the others.

I think they should have used basic styles to demonstrate these guitars' qualities: strumming, flatpicking, fingerpicking (with and without thumbpick and slide). Here, it's "just" fingerpicking and slide. But the target group of these guitars are all guitarists searching for a mid-priced guitar, right?!

"body style. the cpx is a jumbo style body. the apx is more of a concert body style, but with an oval shaped sound hole. they both have the A.R.T. pickups (except the 500 models which just have a ribbon transducer under the bridge)" (answer copied from kudama6)
