Hi Sean good to see you on the 'Tube. I visited with Bois Sec at his home and played accordian with him, he was a fine man and it's a great memory. Another memory is when you and Chris played at the Barbican in London. You did a great music workshop. We love and respect the Creole music here. Come to England again, we miss you'all. Just listened to my first Chris Ardoin CD. Then checked out this video. These guys are really talented--LOVE that accordion music!. I also like the old style with french lyrics and I hope these fine musicians continue that so it's not lost.

Thats the same thing I was thinkin. Chris comes from a family that began zydeco and creole. I think he should re-record some french tunes by Amédé and"Bois Sec" Ardoin. I like his moderization of zydeco today, but nothing beats the old creole french tunes.
