He crashed a motorcycle and almost died in June of that same year and retired in September. So as I said, a motorcycle retired LaVar. Years left out we had no first rounders. We should draft all O lineman this year and next. We should never again draft a QB in 1st round. We have gotten our best picks after 1st round. Lavar is part of this frustration.

That year QB Ralpg Gugliemi (bust) 1956 HB Ed Vereb bust, '59 QB Don Allard bust , '60 QB Richie Lucas(bust) ,'61 QB Norm Snead (not good but we got Sonny for him) & T Joe Rutgens (ok), '62 Ernie Davis (died but we got Bobby Mitchell for him), '63 TE Pat Richter (ok) , '64 RB Charley Tayler (switched to WR) great , '66 K Charley Gogolak (ok) , '67 RB Ray McDonald ( child molester) bust(ed), '68 Jim Yazoo Smith sued the team.

Monte Coleman , London Fletcher Chuck Drazenovich , Chris Hanburger, Ken Harvey ,Sam Huff , Wilbur Marshall , Harold McLinton,Neal Olkewicz ,Marcus Washington were all better Redskin LBs than Lavar.
Huff and Hanburger got more votes in a Redskin fan poll than Arrington. When you consider that about 70 % of today's fans never saw these guys , it shows what little respect Redskin fans have for a nobody, Arrington.
Lavar -great college player but this ain't Penn State.
