  • Lol tiger still sells agp cards and its 2011

  • aint tis pci?

  • @sciman001 nope. its universal AGP the pci connectors look way different.

  • is diablotek a good brand??

  • @dethklok1989 thier mid quality everyone says their crap but they needa back the fk off cause i have a diablotek PHD 650watt PSU and it works really good soo yeah diablotek is good

  • "ITS RED :0 everybody loves red, except the people that don't like red'

sure.. Logan... just stfu and come back!

  • 0:40 did he said AGP slut?

  • While playing World of Warcraft with this Video Card i only get around 10-25 fps its horrible i dont understand how you get so much frame rate on Quake 4..... Please ANSA MEH!

  • adjust your settings possibly lower the quality such as shading and texturting a little bit that might help you know since it is only 128mb's which is half or I think it might be only 1/3 what's needed for using so many textures in DX 9.0.

  • dont get me wrong, i like this guy, but he scares me sometimes, like when he says "DONT SEND ME HATE MAIL, IM SPREADING THE LOVE GUYS!!!"

  • I dare them to do one w/ a 5800, Lawlz no really. o:,

  • "ITS RED, EVERYBODY LOVES RED!!!"

  • yes LAWL

most likely because red is the color of BLOOD x3

  • @gtatec9 my Geforce FX5200 is red :D

  • "they were like as much as a horse"

...damn this guy with his animal fetishes

  • I liked how he stuttered at the beginning "this is the f-f-FX 5700"

  • my integrated graphics is better than this, lol...

  • @IBeCeRTiiFieD not really,

I could beat any IGP with an Old ass nintendo. LOL

  • i got dis an its shit

  • wtf!

    quake 4 70 fps?¿ :O

  • An 8600GT at that settings in Quake 4 couldnt even run that good.

  • Comment removed

  • So much for AGP being around for a few more years

  • Yeah I need to get that PCI 5200 my computer dosnt have a regular AGP slot sadly it requires speacial sized low profile cards :'( and the ones I can afford SUCK I'd have to buy it then a DVI to VGA adapter so Im stickin with PCI for now I guess. :'(

  • dont bother with the pci 5200, its crap. there are much better pci cards, for instance the 6200 is ok, but you can get 9400's and hd 2400's for pci now

  • @dan171717d PCI SUCKS!

    AGP FTW! D<

  • you must have a shitty pentium 4 platform in your house

    pcie will eat agp alive

  • @hanrinch a AMD athlon 64 FX x2's have agp slots and even some Pentium D's

  • isn't that agp only available on s462athlon xp/s754 athlon 64 mb? and some old s478 p4? because i remember that last intel chipset that support agp is 865.

  • @hanrinch i have no clue atm o.o

But I know I saw a AGP mobo that was a dual core mobo.

  • @hanrinch

i wouldn't call a P4 shitty, since later chipsets didn't get faster... they just added more chips together. and if you knew anything about programming, most programs running on your PC don't or can't use the processing power of ALL the chips.

but yeah. AGP was a shitty not-a-standard.

  • @kawaiifreak860

except PCI-e already replaced AGPs on all new motherboards??!

  • @rebelanarch Dosn't mean it's not good dumb ass.

Plus PCI-E isn't on every mother board or let me correct you PCI-E 2.0 aka the one made for GAMING better then AGP isn't on all of them some may look it but it'll be 1.0 that means it'll be running at about AGP 2X speed.

    Slow as hell.

You want either PCi-E 2.0 OR AGP 4X/8X if you want to game PROPERLY or at the least DECENTLY. further more...

    AGP 4x 8,000mb/s or 1gb/s

    AGP 8x 17,066mb/s or 1.76gb/s

    AGP 8x 64-bit 34,133mb/s or 4.26gb/s

  • @kawaiifreak860

i don't know where you shop but the all newest PCs in my town have PCI-e 16X slots, which is about 4 times faster than an AGP 8X. but i'm not bitching about that.

hate how they did compatiblity in AGP slots. utterly confusing, and not popular enough to convince more card makers to produce a great variety of products for it. not much of a prob now since all slots and current available cards are 4X or 8X. the ancient PCI slot had more video card made for it

  • @rebelanarch I know right? But problem with PCI is it's running at 66mhz pushing only 133mb/s the only upgrade that makes sense for it was PCI-X yes it was rare and bulky but it had enough power that It could measure up to an AGP 2x which isn't half bad at all.

PCI-E isn't bad either but the thing is, It's fucking serial and proper imaging is done in Parallel which is what PCI/PCI-X/AGP are infact I'm commenting using a PCI-E card and this thing looks no where near as good as my AGP 8X 5950.

  • He said nvidia was going to be fazed out in a few years :0

  • lol, no. AGP is being phased out.

  • oh I thought he said Nvidia is being phased out...

  • No AGP will dip in a few year. god help any AGP users. amen

  • I just saw a fucking 4670 in AGP format..... I was wtf'ing.

  • well AGP isn't that bad plus some people with AGP would like to GAME to.

  • get a 4670 then, its the newest AGP card

  • I thought the best AGP was the 3870!

  • @resdudeornardude i have a HD4670 pcie do they have a agp version wtF?

  • the only people that use agp are like he said people on a budget. (like myself) i have this card but the 256 versioin it sucks balls even though its a 256 it wont run shit cuz my board doesnt support 8x i think

  • Hi everi body! I looking for one card like this, used or refurbished. I need it to replace one. thanks in advanced.

  • Question to all those with gaming PC's. Would the current driver I have be..well, here's what it is. Intel (R) Core (TM) 2 CPU 4400 @ 2.00GHz 2.00GHz

    Memory (RAM): 2.00GB

    32 bit Operating System.

Somewhat, (I already know that my driver sucks and I can't play certain games) But I want to play a few free MMORPGs on my PC, but I cannot. Because my computer (or driver) isn't compatible with it. I was wondering if either I need a new computer, or a graphics card. And, yes..this is Vista. -.-

  • Your CPU (Central Processing Unit) is a little dated by todays standards but it should perform reasonably well with in reason.

I noticed you didnt include your graphics card which leads me to think you're using on-board. This is where your problem lies. I would guess your computer is using an PCI-E based motherboard rather than an AGP based one. If so try looking at some of the budget cards. Your CPU may bottleneck but you'll be able to play :). The Nvidia 9800GT line of cards sell for $100.

  • Thanks for the advice. ^^

  • my cousin has the same setup and with a 9600GT he does great in most games.

  • EPIC PHAIL omg i used this for like 3 years and i got 9600 GT so much DIFFERENCE lol

  • Actually, the 5800 ultra was way faster in opengl than the ati 9700 series, and then the 3rd revision of the 5900 card (which addressed the pixel shading problems of the first fx cards) was faster across the board than the competition, bar the stupidly overpriced 9800xt.

  • Fail :P

  • Epic Fail. :D

  • LOL no

  • "its red! Everybody loves red! Except for people who don't like red." lol 3:22

  • they still make these?

  • i had this card in my first pc got 8800GTX now witch is a little bit better :)

  • hey, me too :-), this was my forst gaming graphics card.

  • do you know that ATI hold the fastest AGP graphics card?

  • the 3850?

  • are u kidding me on 1660 x 1200 resolution? 70 fps, theres a lot of nice vid cards in there than 5700 can barely play good fps rates on that setting...

  • 70 fps on 1600 x 1200? i dont think i can even get that on my 8600 gts

  • (The following statement is sarcastic by nature and not factual at all) WOW!! This card is the BEST!!! I can play max settings on Dota at 70FPS. I can deal with minor lag playing crysis at max settings with the maximum resolution. Very very very good card, I recommend it

  • I love the sarcasm on Logan's face hahah.. man I remember my 5700FX LE Edition from BFG Tech all those years back. Believe it or not its a decent AGP GPU.. I used to run HL2 very decently in 1024x768 with an avg of 25-30 frames at medium settings. Also played COD1 with similar settings fairly well. So its a decent low end card. BUT hahah don't expect playing Crysis with it even in 640x480 res with every slider down to low LMAO !!!!

  • AGP? get a 3850 agp version

  • lol... my old pc that now i use it as a server for webhosting... i have a FX5200 128MB 64Bit AGP 8x... and i played on that relic with a duron 1200 and 1GB of DDR ( The Mobo Supports Max 1GB DDR Ram )Half Life 2 Ep2 With everything On Medium 1024-768 and got 26 FPS :)))... i still love this relic :X:X

  • it can probably can get 70FPS on the lowest settings @ 1600x1200

  • on?

  • l337z0r you are so noob boy fx 5700 kick ass(of course in her time)and WoW runnes smooth on geforce 2,i am telling you because i played wow on one.you were lagging because you have a bad internet connexion or you play on a shity server,fx 5700 is a good card even now.

  • I have an FX 5700 and it can't even play World of Warcraft without noticabe lag.

  • rofl 70fps at 1600x1200 .. that is a total lie

  • how many fps does this get on wow?

  • Unlimited.. WoW doesnt need anything to run :)

  • Just incase people see this video and think it is a good option for AGP. It's not, if your looking for a cheap AGP card get a nvidia 6200 atleast a 6600 or ATi 1600/1650 would be better though. However the card being reviewed is below minimum spec for modern games.

  • The only hope for AGP users is the ATi Radeon HD 3850AGP.

  • Q4 70fps on 1600x1200? BULLSHIT

  • I agree... WTF?!

    I have a 8800GTS 640MB and I don't even know if I get that. LOL!

  • probably in the menu :)

  • they juz want to sell all of their old video cards out

  • I have 9600XT (better) and i get 40fps at Q4 in medium on 1024x768.

  • i had a 9800pro(its a lot better than this fx5700) and i played quake when it came out w/ all settings maxed out 1600x1200 and it was bearly playable around 30fps

  • wow u can get this on crysis all high 70 fps

  • LOL, this reminds me of the old days where I had an Nvidia Gefore 5500 on my Gateway 420GR. Turns out it was a downgrade and I got an ATI X700 instead.

  • YEH red is fast!

  • the 5700 ! i could pick that up for nothiing its so bad xD

  • im a nvidia usar, but i need to say the fx series is worsen than ati 9000 series.., the ati powercolor PCS 3850 AGP its the best option.

  • Ok... Logan when did this card come out ...?!! 2003?!! Why dont ya reccomend the ATI HD 3850... It literally beats that by 100 miles...

  • lol! FX 5700 was made in 2003, i'm running on a NVIDIA GeForce FX 5700.

  • agp cards rules.

i managed to overclock my 1999 nvidia riva tnt 32 agp card so much that it can run crysis on low.

    pretty good man.

i had to put nitrogen on it

i love agp. stickig with it for life

  • lmao

  • Then your a fucking dumbass.

  • The PCI-E 3850 1024x768 all high no aa , 16xaf on crysis got me 30-37fps ;)

  • I just bought this at tigerdirect yesterday I just need it to play GTA San Andreas and the Silent Hill 3. Screw the new games of this year they suck anyways.

  • i havent seen that card in years, lol i never owned an Fx series card before

  • ATI 3850 AGP edition is the best AGP card out now.

  • the 3850 agp runs cod4 max settings 1024x768 with 25 fps and crysis on high at 8 fps

  • wow thats some serious performance

  • lol logan rules

    its red..

  • thats a pretty good card actually, i bought two so i can make a nice bonfire

  • lol!

  • ohhh its red LOL

i want it but im getting the 9600gt alpha dog edition with call of duty :)

  • diablotek?? :|

  • It's more cheaper to go PCIe.

Some AGP cards are still over 100USD.

  • Ebayed my xfx 7600 gt for 100$ (apg ofc)

  • That's pretty high-priced for something that is getting very old with cards that are much better, for cheaper.

  • Yup, but agp is high priced in general. It was a good card, only used it a few times.

  • Ah, well, then that's a fair price.

  • what do you use to show fps in games? what software?

  • for only 20-30$ more you can get a 8500 GT or 8600 GT -.-; whyd u recommend it...lol

  • wow 70FPS i only get like 45FPS and i got a geforce 6200

  • last-gen high-end is always better than next-gen low-end

  • no this wasn't last gen high-end. This was last gen mid range.

  • FX 5700 what the fuck? I got the FX5200 in my 2002 machine, but what the hell.. reviewing a old graphics card?

  • they just want me to review 50 things a day... sucks.

  • dudeXD, you are lucky ,

at both of the LAN Parties I have hosted (i live in the Dominican Republic) we could play Starcraft and Unreal Tournament because our PC's suck XD

  • But you get to touch a lot of things none of us can even see IRL. Lol

  • Oh' I see Logan. That will be spam on YouTube. :-P

But this one is not new anyway?

  • this card sux, but if you wana play on lowest settings just get a fast CPU and your good

  • i wonder what it would be like on WoW

  • Dude theres a version of the 3870 for agp

  • Yeah, get the 3870 agp version...

    Plays new games well.

    This card sucks

  • You mean the 3850 right?

  • Yea, sorry, typo mistake..

  • Hey, I have one of these!

  • i haven't seen anything that tiny since i was about 7 yrs old! =P

  • Logan should note some motherboards just disable the onboard video adapter if you insert and use a PCI/AGP or PCI-Express video card and so this would not allow you to use two monitors using the onboard video unless one monitor supports the VGA and the other supports the DVI from this video card presented. I do not recommend VGA on an LCD monitor, the colour and crispness are slightly less quality less compared to DVI.

  • the card itself supports dual monitors.

  • LOL @ this video card. You're kidding me right?

It's so inexpensive to upgrade from AGP -> PCI-e nowadays...some people are just cheap.

  • on board video card are ''boring''.

  • yes, it's not much, but much better than OBG's!!

  • Makes my 8800gt look shit, damn

  • go for a 6600

  • WHERE ARE THE BENCHMARKS?!?!

  • The best AGP card is the x1950. They're nice cards, I have the PCIe x16 version. Upgrading to a 8800gt or 9600gt soon though.

    Oh and Diablotek? :\

  • you better wait until nvidia releases his new cars, the 10 series

  • Lol dude. It took 2 Years for Nvidia to release it's Geforce 9 Series after the 8 Series. Just imagine how long for the 10 Series.

  • Well actually, 9 series are only a minor upgrade from the 8th, so its a better choice to wait for a major upgrade.

  • i might wait for the ati r800 or if the r700 is good enough i might get the top card in that series

  • the latest 8 series cards are awsome and unmached in SLI the 9 are a small improuvment, kinda like having 2 cards in one + SLI is good forever

i would say at least 3 years

  • "Dominate your games with the power of the NVIDIA® GeForce™ FX performance-class GPUs."

OMG i don't think so, 9800gx2 here we come!

  • not familiar with sarcasm?

  • I was just making a point normally tiger direct don't do sarcasm!!

  • agp is a peice of shit

  • Would be a nice upgrade for me, because anything can beat my MX 440 :P

  • Uncle upgraded from that to a Galaxy 6800GT AGPx8.

  • lets see some crysis benchies

  • wtf is this shit

  • lol, i dont think its a joke. AGP cards...

  • This is strange. It looks like a new video. This must be a joke.

If anyone actually wants to get an AGP card get a 3850 AGP version.

  • or the Radeon X1950

  • i have nothing to say.....

  • is...is this a joke?

  • Exactly what i though

  • no, I have AGP.
