  • That BK commercial was from 1982 WOW.

  • If i only i was born 20 years earlier to witness this era!

All I have is remnants from that era, shit my brother used to play with that i wished people still played

  • Awesome! Blasts from the past! My niece (humph-laugh) grew up with cabbage patch dolls. Even remember the news reels of mothers fighting other mothers (hair pulling, eye clawing, face ripping, knocked out teeth, etc.) at the departments stores over them. There were rumors that they'd be valuable collectors items one day.

And now, now you know the rest of the story!

  • YAY! I've got two of those Key Cars :D

  • It was the 80's. A lot of weird shit went down in the 80's. A lot.

  • The origin of 'Win': The Cabbage Patch Kids Koosas commercial XD

  • at 5:03 is that BRITTANY SPEARS o.O

  • Wait....I remember the KEY CARS...I had some...wtf?

I forgot those existed. Damn I need a time machine, can we have the 80s back?

  • Ahhhh yes, burnin' key cars being raced across mom's linoleum floor. Those were the days. Until, of course, dad came home in a bad mood. "Get these %$^&in' things off this floor! I almost broke my leg on these $%%#in' things!"

  • wowww, these personalitys created all of the assholes of today. congrads

  • lol that cabbage patch kid with the glasses was ugly

  • Cabbage Patch kids were never cute, they were butt ugly mutants!

  • I agree Kevdogg! Men were so much hotter back then, if only I were not a child at that time I would have been a serial dater!

  • Cabbage Patch Preemies? Wow...

  • Christmas 1982/83...what an awesome season for Coleco that must have been between Cabbage Patch Kids an Colecovision.

  • Some dolls even wear eyeglasses - "Like em? I LOVE em!" -- now let the ass kicking commence...

  • isn't a preemie cabbage a brussel sprout?

  • The cabbage patch pree-mee was my favorite toy as a kid. That, and the cabbage patch jaundis and the cabbage patch jacobsen syndrome and cabbage patach Imperforate anus. They were the best!

  • I forgot how sickening that cabbage patch shit was.

  • What? No TSA? Where are your papers?

  • Is it weird that 25 yrs later I can remember my CPK names?? Tabitha was old school, Alana was a preemie & Daria had a tooth & a China Passport! Creampuff was the Koosas. I can't believe my family gave me 4 CPK's.....I wish I still had them!

  • You know, I never thought I would ever get nostalgic for the 80s but I am now. Things were gentler and a lot nicer although nobody said it at the time. All they did was look back at a perceivedly nicer 50s and 60s. I guess we'll probably hear people say the same about today in 20 years' time.

  • lota cabbebe path kids!!!

  • LJN......nooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo

  • To much Cabbage Patch kids

  • omg...the cabbage patch preemies! i've never seen that commercial.! thats fukin weired...lmao!

  • as long as you had a kitchen big enough for those burnin key cars

  • i think this video should be renamed Cabbage Patch Kids Commercials of the 1980s since all but 3 commercials were about them.

  • 12 people never had a tv

  • wow i actually had those key cars

  • 1:15 Those Cabbage Patch Kids will tell you LiES!!!!

  • the cabbage patch phone ad i never seen this and I have it at my parents house in a box some place

  • I had Cabbage Patch roller skates. Best Christmas gift ever!!! :)

  • I had Cabbage Patch roller skates. Best Christmas gift ever!!! :)

  • @Stonecold041989= Gee Mister Hitler, that's a very interesting opinion. So I guess the Ninja Turtles were responsible for kids painting themselves green, and getiing lost in a sewer? That is the most asenine thing I've seen on YouTube today. Quit blaming a doll and toys in general for the problems of the world. Those girls got pregnant, because it was their fault. Don't pass the buck on a lousy piece of plastic. Take responsibility for your own actions.

  • freakin gay cabbage packs

  • the hair of the 80s was the only good hair ever males with log hair are much sexier and interesting than now

  • @Kevdogg3160 omg ikr? And the kids looked so much cuter.

  • wow not as if Preemies arent a reality in life and people didnt wanna know about it, come ON PC idiots.Get OVer it.They need more reality NOW.And thats the little girl from Poltergeist on one of the commercials is it not??

  • @Kevdogg3160 Isn't that funny? Cabbage Patch Preemies! Not only did they use the word "preemie," but they market dolls! I guess things were just different back then. I do think that increased sensitivity to birth defects, etc. is a good thing overall, though. I have scoliosis and I do NOT let people call me a hunchback. First, that's not the same thing, and second, it's just not cool. So I think exploiting premature babies and calling them "preemies" is similar.

    -Joe E Dangerously

  • The little girl from Poltergiest movie, who passed away, the one played Carolanne in the commercial!! wow

  • I can't believe those fugly cabbage patch dolls were so popular (especially with the ridiculous themes - preemie babies? WTF). All the emphasis on having a doll that's like a real baby and people wonder why teen pregnancy is such an issue ... from a young age, you're telling girls that having a baby is a game!

  • wow brooke shields

  • i was born in the 90's i still remember i always wanted those cabbage patch kids

  • haha i was born in 1994 but i still remember the 90's to those were the days

  • It sucks how short the average life span is. Were not even a tiny bity fragment on the time line. I wish each person could live to be atleast 500

  • I have to say that I got a soft spot for 80's commercials. I kind of feel like the have more feeling that stuff I see on the TV today. I want to go back to that era, like I did when I was 6 in 1989, but I seem to moove further and further away from it.

  • lmao 3:08

  • did u notice that all the best movies where made in the 1980's???????????????/

  • Never was into cabbage patch kids. They were creepy

  • wow cabage patch kids was the iPod of the 80s

  • @video77ab You think?

  • 1:10, ROFL XD "It's a place to go...besides the streets!" =D

that's one grand ringing endorsement for Boys' Club, lol, someone fire the advertising staff! xD

  • that Preemie cabage patch commercial is depressing. I still remember my mother being against that commercial. I don't agree with it either. thats just dispicable and uncalled for.

  • @BatNuklier oh bleh...how can you disagree with educating people about the facts of life (not the TV show...i know we're all in an 80s mood)? sesame street has an HIV muppet...same deal...the facts of the world around us can't be ignored, and those with so-called 'differences' are not different from anyone else. we have to educate kids about facts, teaching them that 'different' is normal--'different' isn't something freakish to be chased off like Frankenstein's monster o.0

  • @BatNuklier I agree. I think we should start a grassroots campaign to get in touch with Coleco, the manufacturer of Cabbage Patch Dolls, and get them to take the damn Preemmies out of production and circulation! We have to start holding these corporate mongrels to some kind of standards especially where children are involved.

Oh wait it's 2010 and Coleco has been out of business for decades. Never mind.

  • cabbage patch kids belong in tim burton movies

  • why did i have to be born in the 90s :(

  • 1980's was the best to be a kid. I remeber watching these classic commercials.

  • I wish i could live in these times in united states.

  • It's funny I remember a few of these commercials, but I had no idea that there was a Brooke Shields doll. I wonder if she got any of the roylties from that doll?

  • @Mysteryfan28 you can pretend she's a teenage star, rofl XD

i wonder if good ole Brooke saw this commercial and felt depressed, lolz =P

  • wait. premature born cabbage patch? wtf

  • wid tasty murshmellows

  • whoa brooke shields doll...

  • I still have my two cabbage patches, I miss the 80s

  • @SpruceGroveAB

I still have my cabbage patch dolls too :) they had such weird names, 'Quintilla Dulcie' and 'Joyvita Naomi' haha :D I wonder who came up with those weird names for them, I had to ask my mum what the birth certificates said as I couldn't pronounce their names.

Those were the greatest days, the 1980's :)

  • i wish i was an 80's kid i was born in 1998 =(

  • I feel old ;(

  • I like the Brooke Shields dolls. I have a darker skin Michael Jackson doll--the one from the Grammy Awards--they would go cute together! LOL

  • I had a nightmare when I was 3 about boo berry, franken berry, and count chocula marshmallows chasing me. So remember key cars. Got a Cabbage Patch preemie for Christmas when I was 7. Had one with a tooth too!!! Check out Seth Green at the beginning of the Burger King commercial!!

  • meuk

  • holly poop the count is a sales man check out the suit case

  • I WANT SOME BOOBERRY!!!!!!!

  • And this Cabbage Patch doll has hair like Nikki Sixx..

  • I love Booberry!

  • A grandma? What do u mean? How could u let this happen? She's only a little girl!!!! I was talking about cabbage patch dolls. A what?

  • I remember I spent about 30 bucks trying to win a Cabbage Patch doll from a carnival for my girlfriend back in the 80's...

  • lol @ the cabbage patch marketing to boys too. I didnt know one boy when i was a kid who had one. we had way too many manly toys to keep us busy!

Transformers, HeMan, voltron, muscle men, legos, Nintendo, and many many many more!

  • @VegasBilgeRat some of us girls hated cabbage patch dolls too, and I loved all those boy toys just as much as you!

  • @fastsnow CABBAGE PATCH KID......bwahahahahahahahahahaaaaa!!! >.<

  • 80s commercials are awesome! The commercials these days don't make any sense.

  • thank you for this it was amazing, and took me back to my childhood...sometimes I feel like im stuck in the 80s, but why not...it was the best and seeing things like this make me happy.

  • ROFL Brooke sheilds doll!

  • i stoped the video at the 5 cabbage patch kid commercial it was too much lol

  • @NGTYCOON LOL

  • Brooke Shields doll comes complete with ring, brush, and postpartum depression medication. Tom Cruise Scientology doll sold separately.

  • Racing key cars across mom's linoleum floor and pissing her and dad off was a great part of growing up.

  • omg, I used to have one of those key cars

  • @noladol me too!

  • Does anyone remember the GAG news story about the Cabbage Patch Kid that was kidnapped? Supposedly, there was a photo of the "Kid" with a bag over his/her head and surrounded by the kidnappers. And the kidnappers threatened that if there were any tricks, that the kid would be "slaw" ?

    No joke!

  • Cabbage patch mania!

  • Man fuck the 80's! No internet, no Playstation, stupid looking puffy hair! It was the dark ages!

  • @AndyMac1369 Not sure your age, but it sounds like you weren't around in the 80's. Trust me, you had to be there. After the 70's, it was like the sun coming out after 20 years of VietNam and the Cold War. Not trying to tick you off, just my opinions here....

  • @AndyMac1369 Fuck you. We had compuserve, the anarchist BBS, Nintendo, Atari, PC games and Apple games, and that poofy hair looked great IN the 80's. Guess since you werent there, you wouldnt understand, kid.

  • fuck i wish i was in my teen years in the 80's im in the fuckin 2000's. fuck this decade and beyond

  • What a magical time!! Our imaginations ruled the world! Fanatsy was real, stress was temporary, I miss the 80s so much! I am 30 now like many of you and wish we could all go back there together and stay there!!!! These times are (fart noise)! Bring back the 80s, they went by too fast!

  • the 80's,,,,the best decade ever period!

  • hate 2000's is the worst years of my life

this year is only about sex, fight, skinny jeans, emo, abusing, bad toys, bad words, and other crap the 80's where the days awesome music, neon lights, partys, fun, and other

  • damn..looks like cabbage patch kids was some serious shit back then eh

  • Cabbage patch premies I'm surprised they didn't have a cabbage patch still born.

  • The 80's was a great decade..to bad they don't do cartoons and commercials like they use to....I feel for the kids today ....they are missing out on so much

  • FAST!!!!!! And you have to love the little girl's crimped hair at 3:09. You don't really see that anymore.

  • @Jeff98177 I had a hair crimper given to me as a gift one time. I was like what am I going to do with this?! My hair was too short and permed!

  • my brother loved boo berry!

  • I could have done without remembering all of those Cabbage patch kids commercials...lol But, unfortunately, you've brought the memories back :)

  • Cabbage Patch kids had a bigger dimple than Kirk Douglas!

  • LOL! That sounds like Sean Connery voicing the vampire on the wall in the first ad!

  • I loved the 80's but one thing I do not miss is those Cabbage Patch Kids. God they were ugly.

  • @AmericanEvita I totally agree!! I miss the 80's so much, the cartoons, the toys, the summer vacations, the care-free days of childhood. When I remember those days now, it really was like a magical dream(the only problem was I took it for granted at the time but I guess that's part of what made it so wonderful, lol :) You don't know how much I wish I could go back in time and re-live that decade!! Best decade ever.

  • @wiesen246 I so agree!!! I miss that decade too!!

  • And now in 2010, they have the fat-ass burger!

  • 1:52 That girl is in porn now.

  • Omg I freakin love KPC Koosas!!! <3

  • Cabbage patch kids part... "Is she ok doc?" "Yeah, she's just teething". Madness.

  • In the Burger King commercial the first kid you see is Seth Green

  • wtf is up with all the cabbage patch kids assininity?

  • 3:11 is creepy wtf

  • was the 80s the year of the cabagepach kids?

  • I was born in 1980, so all my earliest memories and my kid years are from the 80's. I love that decade so much! It was the best decade ever. You can tell how much the world has changed since then and in a sense, it was better then. In the 90's, I was already a teenage girl and loved the 90's as well. Nothing beats the 80's and 90's. I don't like the 70's (seems like a disgusting era to me) so I'm glad I hadn't been there then!

  • @AmericanEvita same here I was born in 81 and I remember the smurfs, jem and the holograms , all the good stuff, I wish people would stop making fun of OUR era!!

  • @amyntut I know. Our childhood in the 80's was awesome..it was like a wonderful dream that you didn't want to wake up from. I'm 30 now and I still remember the 80's with nostalgia and I think the 80's was the best decade ever. Wish it had lasted longer too because I felt it went by so fast.

  • @AmericanEvita I remember all the 80s, I was 6 in 1980, I still remember being in school after xmas holidays and writing in my little book 1980, it felt weird after write 1979 (the year I started school).

The 80s were the best of years. I agree that I wish they were longer. What a decade!

  • @carsonsmith Nice! I was born in 1974; I will never forget my childhood either. I think I spent more time in a video arcade then I would care too admit but, who didn't?

  • @AmericanEvita I couldn't agree more. Man, I miss the 80s. 35 now and just wish I could relive my childhood.

  • @AmericanEvita i know what you mean that was a great decade and it did fly by too fast.

  • @AmericanEvita why can't i vote "Up" 10000 times for this comment =*(

  • to bad you weren't born a little earlier, the 70s really ruled, the middle-late 80s were much more like the 90s.

  • @PupuTheClown I'm sorry but from what I've "seen" in TV shows, movies, fashion magazines, etc; the 70's looked "ugly"- it was still a late 60's psychadelic type of culture, and never cared for Hanna Barbara cartoons or bell bottom pants or disco. Maybe it was fun for teens and adults; but kids of the 70's kinda looked bored to me. Disney movies/kids' movies were fewer then too. The 70's was an era "for adults". The 80's had something for everyone. I think 90's was too cynical.

  • @AmericanEvita i wish born in the 80s u mustve really had a great time now a days everything is in a hurry

  • not sure what your talking about these were much better times then all you ignorant degenerate people taht are growing up today i was a kid in the 1980s an it was much better you did not have men fucking men an getting married to them white women only running around with black men faggots getting married you did not have all this immigration problems an such an such as you do today an at last but not least there was no nwo back then like there is today people were much happier

  • @AmericanEvita . I agree with you, I remember being excited about waking up on Saturday to watch tv. All the shows then were more wholesome. Thinking about the 80's bring good memories that make me wish I could go back and stay there forever.

  • @AmericanEvita

    Biased much?

  • boys club is gay...

  • 3:12 WTF WAS THAT

  • "boys club because we think their better than girls... i mean it keeps them from the streets" sexist mutch?

  • You ought to re-label this CPK Commercials ツ and cut out the others!

  • Jesus too much cabbage patch kids commericals!

  • WHATS WITH THE DAMN CABBAGE PACTH KIDS

  • i have cabbage patch dolls bought in the 19os their still going today

  • I grew up in the 80's and I'm so glad I did. I wore all the 80's clothes... yes, including the leg warmers and head band! It was a great decade to be a teenager in!

  • seth green in b k ad

  • Brooke Shields doll? lol

  • dang who know cabbage patch kids where so popular in da 80's!! n Burger King rocks n so does the 1980's!!!!!!!!

  • I'm so disturbed by the Cabbage Patch Kids commercials... so much obsession with training little girls to be mothers! Blah! I hated those dolls when I was a kid, they made me feel gross... think about it, her dad called her grandmother and said, "They just arrived!" Like, hello, your kid is like 4 years old. I thought we had a problem with teen mothers, but 4-year-olds?? Scary...

  • aint u hungry for my cock

  • It's shocking to think that people used to be interested in things other than cell phones and their flatscreen TV's.

  • I want a bowl of Count Chocula! My mom would NEVER buy it for me. **sigh**

  • What a add :D

    Great Commercials :D
