When it comes to .22 LR there is another great gun. the RUGER SR-22 its based on the good old Ruger 10/22.
There is a version with a barrel that supports a supressor instantly - add subsonic ammo to this and you can go ninja.
I personally prefer .22 lr High velocity from magtech, not exactly a whisper but some serios effect. There is even an aftermarket Clip with a capacity of 50 shots to replace the boring 10 shot drumclip. NEVER underestimate .22 lr ;-)
blah blah yea yea...just shoot the damn gun..is it me or doesnt it seem like he doesnt kno anything out the guns..n that hes reading from a monitor or que cards
Multiple definitions list assault rifles as requiring selective fire capabilities in order to fit into the description of being called an assault rifle.
Several don't list this a requirement either, but a consistency between the two is that the weapons have to be designed for military use. These weapons were designed for civilian use, and designed to be sold to civilians. (Gone are the times where military and civilians shared weapons.) Most military weapons are "form 3".
if you spent a 1000 dollars on an ar and have the money to drop i would guess those cost at least 5 to 600 dollars why not just buy 600 dollars of 223?
ISSC MK22 is a .22LR of the MK16 (aka SCAR-L) and is going to be released in September of 2010 (or at least that’s the plan) it has an MSRP of $569.95. They don't tell you much on ISSC's website about it. (Please ISSC give us more info!)
I'm really interested in the M&P 15/22, but i want to know what parts are interchangable. If i use it for 'training', it has to be the same as my AR, 2 stage trigger, BCM mod 4 ch, CTR stock, AFG, vtac forearm etc. I would like the M&P more if it used black dog mags though...
all rifles can be assault rifles lol all weapons can be assault weapons. thanks to media hype everyone is pressured into calling these semi auto rifles AR's
Say it louder and again. Some of the firearms "experts", just have firearms knowledge. In a strict definition, a firearm must have at least the following characteristics to be considered an assault rifle It must be an individual weapon with provision to fire from the shoulder It must be capable of selective fire;
It must have an intermediate-power cartridge: more power than a pistol but less than a standard rifle or battle rifle;
Its ammunition must be supplied from a detachable magazine.
@lpalmer80--The firing mode has nothing to do with the type of weapon it is. These ARE in fact Assault Rifles. As weird as it may seem, the thing that makes them an assault rifle is 1) Their bolt assembly in correlation to the assembly of a small bore rifle. And 2) The position of the stock in correlation to the sights. Disagree? You can argue it at the Aberdeen Proving gounds with the U.S. Armed forces weapons General.
they have been calling them "assault rifle " for years stop crying

Yeah, but these models cost more money than getting a Ruger 10 22 which is a proven 22 rimfire rifle.

useful....for killing gophers. Cheaper tiny ammo to train on the m4? wtf is the point if u dont feel the same recoil.
